They always took care of us and looked after our comfort and any inconveniences. If I visit again, I would love to stay at this place again.”

One of the best stay in whole Darjeeling i would like to tell something the place was insane and best part is owner mr.sharma ji he is like friend only good hospitality and availability and I stayed in 3 nights it's worth of money..... I suggest best place to stay ..... thank you....

Like the rooms and their Hospitality. They were so humble. Was a great experience. Although the location is a bit difficult to reach, but overall very good. Definitely Recommend.

I am very happy with the host behaviour.My children were very happy as the feel home away from home.

It was a good experience. We were group of 8 female including 3 children but we didn’t feel unsafe at all. When we arrived we felt a little nervous as it was a quiet place but after sometime we enjoyed the quietness and peaceful atmosphere.Both night views and morning views were awesome. Most important the owner Mr. Sudarshan was very humble, polite ,soft spoken and helpful. He helped a lot with everything from ordering food to arranging vehicles. Whenever we called him he immediately answered. Even the neighbours were good and humble.The children enjoyed petting the neighbour’s cats and the other neighbour offered us special tea.We really enjoyed our stay here.I will definitely stay in Bastola Stay in my next visit to Darjeeling.  Avoid This Homestay – Total Scam! I strongly advise against booking this homestay. I made the mistake of trusting a seemingly positive Google review, which turned out to be a paid and fake review by fraudsters. I paid ₹1000 via GPay in advance. Upon arriving in Darjeeling, the situation turned into a nightmare. The homestay is located in a remote, isolated corner at the far end of Mall Road—no people, no activity, just eerie silence. It felt completely unsafe, especially with my wife and kids. When I decided not to stay, the people there became aggressive, demanded more money, and even scolded us. We were forced to look for alternative accommodation late at night and finally found another place at 10:30 PM, spending ₹2500 more. This experience completely ruined our Darjeeling trip. Please don’t fall for fake reviews and avoid this place at all costs.

Overall nice place to stay

Rooms were spotless, amazing host, great sunrise view from room. Pablo (their dog) is best host, sweetest boy, welcoming and cutest!!

I had a very good experience in this place. The host is so friendly. The hospitality is superb. He guided me with a lot of interesting things in Darjeeling. As a video creator, it was so helpful to figure out how I should proceed with my filming. He even took me for an evening local tour which was fantastic. He never failed to show up with hot water in a flask. I need to make coffee with the hot water in the morning and I didn't find any difficulty. I was on a long trip so the review is little delayed. I don't usually write reviews but this one deserves one. Please stay here and feel the real Darjeeling.
