We had an amazing 6-night stay at The Sparid Inn and honestly couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Darjeeling. The room was very comfortable and cosy, and the location is great, just a short 10min walk to the Mall.
The best part was definitely the people. Aunty, Uncle, and their son Akash made us feel completely at home from day one. They were so warm, friendly, and welcoming throughout our stay.
We had homemade breakfast and dinner with them every day, which were incredibly by the way, that made the whole experience feel much more personal and special.
A special mention has to go to Kiki, their adorable kitten, who would come meowing and scratching at our door around 7 a.m. every morning and sit with us at dinnertime. It became one of our favourite parts of the day!
We made some wonderful memories at The Sparid Inn and will definitely be back the next time we're in Darjeeling. Highly recommended if you're looking for a cosy homestay with genuinely lovely hosts.

Had a wonderful stay here. The hosts were extremely kind and helpful, especially as I was traveling solo. They supported me with everything I needed and made me feel comfortable throughout my stay. The room was spacious, clean, and perfect for two people even though I was staying alone. The breakfast was very tasty, especially with the refreshing green tea, and the view from the rooftop was absolutely marvelous. Overall, it was a very warm and pleasant experience. Highly recommended!

What a wonderful stay! As soon as we arrived we were welcomed by Aakash and his family who made us feel at home. Every morning we were welcomed into their kitchen for a delicious local breakfast prepared with such care and thought, and got to play with their beautiful kitten Kiki.
The family who run this place are some of the nicest, kindest people we've met on our travels and the best you'll find in Darjeeling. They go out of their way to accommodate you and make you feel at home. We cannot recommend this place highly enough, especially for international travellers.
P.s The homestay is very well situated, just a short walk from Darjeeling town.

The homestay was managed by a very kind and humble uncle and aunty who made us feel completely at home. They were extremely polite and helpful throughout our stay. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and added great value. The location is peaceful and perfect for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended.
One of the best places to stay, on the travelling to Darjeeling. Worth it compared with the location from the busy traffic area. Facilities of Hot water 24×7 service. Local food served with Darjeeling tea for the breakfast. The Owner aunty and uncle is a very good and humble person, helps us throughout our stay and shares the location map places to tourist places around Darjeeling. Pure homely environment is what they offer. Anybody looking to have a nice stay in Darjeeling, Sparid inn is your place. ☺️☺️
Very nice anb engaged host, nice rooms, good location. The only drawback is no acustic insulation from the small street.
Great space. Good hospitality. The room is clean. Washroom as well. Distance from the Mall is 10 minutes walking. The road is narrow for 2 vehicles. Overall it is good:)
This homestay was cherry on the cake for my ladies trip! Run by sweetest people. They were caring. Rooms were big and comfortable. Hot water and hand shower was always available for a comfortable warm bath..Walking distance from mall road and in a very quiet and peaceful locality… away from hustle and chaos! We also got lovely breakfast in room! And a lovely pack of Darjeeling tea as a return gift! Must must stay!❤️ will look forward to coming back here..
We were just 2 friends looking for a peaceful and a budget friendly homestay to stay - and this homestay was perfect. Uncle and aunty (homestay owners)were really great people, friendly and welcoming and treated us like their own family. They even helped us out with everything and even the nearby locations.
The rooms were clean and comfy and everything was provided.The atmosphere is more calm and homely. We had a great experience visiting here.

Lovely place hosted by one of most sweetest family in Darjeeling. Uncle and Aunty were very sweet and welcoming. The sunrise as you can see is mesmerising to see from the stairs provided the weather of Darjeeling permits to 😎.
10-15 mins walking maximum it will take you to reach the Mall . Rini was very welcoming too and very helpful.
