The Shire Homestay

We stayed at The Shire Hotel, and it was a perfect mix of a hotel and a homestay. The people here are very helpful and welcoming. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and cozy. The property is lush green, full of flowers and plants, giving it a very peaceful vibe. Their café is lovely, with good-tasting food at average prices, and plenty of nice options to choose from.

We celebrated our son’s first birthday at this restaurant, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and accommodating from the very beginning. They made sure everything was set up beautifully and handled every detail with so much care. The food was delicious, fresh, and enjoyed by all our guests. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it the perfect place for a family celebration. We are so grateful to the entire team for helping us create such a memorable day for our little one. Highly recommended for anyone looking to host a special occasion!

Hey folks, My friend and I only stayed for one day, but it felt like a mini vacation for the soul. Peaceful vibes, great food, and staff so nice you'd think they were trying to adopt us. Special shoutout to Sudesh (the manager with Jedi-level hospitality skills) and Dikshya, who made us feel like VIPs even though we were just two mildly confused travelers looking for chai and chill. (Please don’t raise the prices after reading this — we’re already emotionally invested in coming back!) I don’t remember everyone's names — I have the memory of a goldfish — but every staff member we met was incredibly kind and helpful. The food? Chef’s kiss. The café? Cozy enough to make you consider quitting your job and becoming a poet. Our room? So spacious and comfy I almost asked if I could move in. Seriously, go check this place out. Very poor. Takes too much time for serving. Come with all your patience and at least one and half hour before your breakfast/lunch/snacks/dinner time.

If you have ample time in your hand, then come at this place only. Taste is average. Normal order of veg fried rice, chilly chicken, chilly paneer for four people took more than one hour to serve when there were only a few customer. The only good thing is ambience. If you ever want to test your patience come to this place.
