I had a wonderful stay at this homestay and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. Everyone was extremely warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay, which made us feel very comfortable and at home. The food deserves a special mention—it was absolutely delicious, fresh, and felt like authentic home-cooked food. Every meal was something to look forward to. The people managing the homestay were incredibly kind and attentive, and their friendly behavior really made the experience even more special. The cottage itself was lovely, peaceful, and comfortable. The view from the cottage was simply beautiful, and waking up to such a scenic surroundings was one of the highlights of the stay. It was the perfect place to relax, disconnect, and enjoy some quiet time away from the usual hustle and bustle. Overall, it was a great experience, mainly because of the wonderful hospitality, delicious food, beautiful location, and genuinely kind people. I would definitely recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay with great views and a homely atmosphere. Would love to visit again!

Absolutely beautiful place and even better hospitality. They have managed to capture the true essence of how it should be at a homestay. Visited them last month. There were 3 cottages allotted for guests, all of which we booked. Every request of ours was very promptly taken care of, including any special cooking request for the sick and elderly. The hosts are the sweetest and very welcoming. We were kept like an extended family, and even invited to their place and garden to visit. They have the cutest dog named Momo. Food was very homely and delicious, prepared with fresh ingredients. We even got to try out their local dishes. And definitely try their Chicken Momo, if you visit. Best momo I've ever had. And not to mention the view from the cottages are breathtaking. On a clearer day, you might even get to see Kanchenjunga from your room. Would definitely visit again. PS. Not all cars will reach till the very doorstep of the homestay, since there's steep incline and offroading. SUVs should easily be able to but some smaller cars with less power cannot. You'd wanna double check with the owners before booking a car or it's just a 10 min hike on foot, if you're capable.

Wonderful experience. The roads connecting to the homestay was a rough experience. But the owner is really welcoming and friendly. You’ll feel like family. The foods are really tasty and homemade. They don’t say no to anything. If you don’t like something to have they’ll instantly prepare whatever you like. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with all the amenities. The view and scenes is just wonderful from room. I’ll recommend each and everyone to go and stay at-least for 2days.

Amazing experience. The roads leading to the homestay in the middle of nowhere was a rough experience. But once we reached the homestay we were welcomed with warm smiles and hot and tasty food. We haven't eaten anything that day hence when we got rice and dal at 5 PM it tasted like heaven. The treehouse were very cozy, the bathroom was neat and clean with geyser attached. We had to wake up as early as 5 AM in the morning to catch our train and the homestay owner prepared tea for us which touched our hearts. I loved my stay at Phi Nong and will recommend everyone to stay atleast two days to feel the beauty of the homestay and the people.
