We had an amazing stay! Even 5 stars would fall less. The hospitality was truly exceptional, even better than what one can experience at many luxury hotels. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate every request and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay.
They also helped arrange transportation whenever needed, making our trip completely hassle-free. What stood out the most was how down-to-earth and humble everyone was despite providing such outstanding service.
The rooms were too comfortable, the food was excellent, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We would definitely love to visit again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for warm hospitality and a memorable stay outside of chaotic darjeeling.
Had a wonderful stay at Seven Pines Homestay! The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, making us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious—every meal was fresh and full of flavor. The rooms and common areas were spotless, reflecting the care they put into maintaining the property. The highlight of the stay was the breathtaking 180° view from the terrace, which made every morning and evening special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, clean, and memorable stay!
The place and the staff was incredibly nice and friendly and it's close to ecp park . A quite surrounding with a good scenery is all you need for your next offbeat trip with your friends and family in this homestay

We had decided to start from Guwahati towards Darjeeling in the month of July, 2026. However, looking into the constraints of car parks in Darjeeling we had decided to stay at a location near Darjeeling. We circled on Lamahatta, and thankfully, we managed to book two rooms at Seven Pines. The homestay is located at 8th Mile, Lamahatta, and is run and managed by a wonderful brother sister duo. The rooms offer a 180 degree view of Darjeeling, the Rangitt river and Namchi in Sikkim. Of course the views are subject to the weather conditions, but that said, you are offered excellent food along with top of the charts hospitality by the owners. Apart from the homestay experience, one can also take a stroll down the main road or take a small walk in the village behind the homestay. The folks at Lamahatta, including the ones running the homestay are top notch, and notwithstanding the views, we are already contemplating another trip to the place. My overall suggestion: 11/10.

Mera stay experience Seven Pines Homestay, Lamahatta me bahut hi accha raha. Yaha ka atmosphere bahut peaceful aur nature ke bilkul close hai. Rooms clean aur comfortable the, aur mountain view bhi amazing tha. Sabse best cheez unki hospitality thi — unka ka behaviour bahut polite aur helpful tha, hume bilkul family jaisa feel hua. Khana bhi fresh aur tasty tha. Agar koi Lamahatta ya Darjeeling side peaceful stay dhund raha hai, to ye homestay definitely recommend karunga. ❤️🏔️ �
Excellent ambience, neat & clean rooms specially dinning room at top floor with a great view in a clear sky. Food quality is very good and fresh specially TEA, COFFEE made by ROSHINA Mam. Behavior of Roshina Mam ,Navin Bhai and their father is extremely good. Visitors may visit this homestay without any second thought.

I recently visited seven pines homestay, it is situated in Lamhata. One can see the hills of Kalimpong on one side, Teesta river on the other side and on a clear weather, you can have a clear view of the Kanchenjunga mountains. The service is excellent here, staffs are courteous especially Mr Nabin. Definitely must recommend homestay
Beautiful location and home stay is awesome
I went and stayed there on mid March 2026 with my family. Awesome host and fabulous food quality. More than that the behaviour of the owners can be remembered for ever. Location is also very good.
