I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Fayfulla Dhonnbu Homestay, hosted by Mr. Bikash Ghishing at Soriang Khasmahal, just about 2 hours from NJP. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with such warmth and kindness that it truly felt like visiting family rather than staying at a homestay. One of the biggest highlights of my stay was the food. Every meal was freshly prepared, hot, delicious, and made with so much care and love. The authentic homemade dishes had a comforting, homely taste that made every meal special. If you are someone who appreciates simple, wholesome, and flavorful home-cooked food, this place will surely win your heart. The property offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding hills. Waking up to the serene mountain scenery every morning was an unforgettable experience. The rooms were cozy, clean, comfortable, and perfectly positioned to enjoy the beautiful landscape, creating a peaceful and relaxing retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The location is also ideal for exploring nearby attractions. Places like Peshok Tea Garden, Lover’s Meet Viewpoint, Lamahatta Park, Gumba Dhara Viewpoint, and Tinchuley can easily be covered in a day. On another day, you can visit Deolo Park, Kalimpong Pine View Nursery, Durpin Monastery, and other nearby attractions, all within a comfortable driving distance. What truly makes this homestay special is the genuine hospitality of the host and the warm, family-like atmosphere. The combination of stunning views, exceptional homemade food, comfortable accommodation, and heartfelt hospitality made my stay incredibly memorable. Overall, it was a beautiful, peaceful, and soul-soothing experience. I would love to visit again and highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway amidst nature with the comfort of a true home away from home. ❤️❤️
