Tenkyong's Homestay

Staying at Tenkyong Homestay in Darjeeling was honestly one of the best parts of our trip. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and feels much more special than many expensive hotels. The terrace view was absolutely stunning — waking up to those views every morning was an experience in itself. What truly made this place memorable was the hospitality of the owner. Their behaviour, kindness, and the way they treated guests genuinely won our hearts. Whenever we faced even a small issue, they immediately took action and made sure we were comfortable and had no problems during our stay. You can find many stays with good rooms, but very few places make you feel cared for like this. If you are visiting Darjeeling and want a place with amazing views, warm hospitality, and a homely feeling, Tenkyong Homestay is definitely worth staying at.

Very bad behavior. Checkout time mai hamara gari 1 hour late tha. But home stay wala, mera and mera family ko bola rasta nikal jao. Because our check out time is 11AM, but hamar gari 11.20 mai aya tha. Check out ke bad ap 10 min bhi nhi rehe sakte. Very bad human

Be aware guys just lost 32000rs worth of things. And one of the room where i stayed had a curved window railing from where a person can enter and stole my things. There r no cameras except for the outside one which is also useless.

I stayed at this homestay in the last week of March, and it was just what I needed. After a long, overnight journey, the beautiful view and a cold shower completely took away my tiredness. In the evening, I just sat on the balcony, soaking in the breathtaking mountain and jungle views felt like a scene from a postcard. I have to mention Dawa, the lady managing the place. She was warm, welcoming, and made the stay feel like home. The owner was equally friendly, and they even served me Momos with Jhol for dinner my first time trying it, and it was delicious! If you are planning a trip to Darjeeling and want a peaceful, non-chaotic stay, this place is a great option. 🌄✨
