Our stay with Mr. Tashi and his family was truly unforgettable. Their warm hospitality and genuine care made us feel like part of their family. The homestay offered breathtaking views of the majestic Kangchenjunga, while at night the glittering lights of Darjeeling created a magical atmosphere across the hills. The delicious home-cooked food, prepared with love and local flavors, added a special touch to our experience, making every meal feel comforting and memorable. The most touching moment came at our departure, when Mr. Tashi and his family bid us farewell by draping a traditional white Khada (Khata) around our necks, a beautiful symbol of blessings, respect, and goodwill. We left with wonderful memories, grateful hearts, and the feeling that we had found a true home away from home. ❤️🏔️🍲🏡✨🙏

We five senior citizens visited Tashi Delek home stay,Rangaroon in 3rd week of May for three nights. Everything was excellent, specially the location is unimaginable.To me it was love at first sight with the place, surrounded by tea estates and sinchal forest, wake up to birdsong, On clear mornings we could see the full Kanchenjunga range from our rooms and balcony. The night view of Darjeeling from home stay was equally magical. Rooms are clean and comfortable and host Tashi and all his family members are extremely accommodative and decent.I must say if you are a nature lover & explore the new places then you must stay in this homestay & feel the beauty of the nature,It feels like heaven on earth. Would definitely visit again. Wi-Fi is decent for basic use. Power cuts happen sometimes in the hills, but they have backup. Additionally I must point out about our driver Lekdhen beta of Rangaroon, he was the most courteous,patient and loveable driver I have ever driven with in the hills,always on time as well as always greeted us warmly, helped with luggage without being asked, and checked if we were comfortable before starting every ride. Never rude, never in a hurry, and he handled all our constant photo stops and route changes with a smile. Made all of us feel safe and respected throughout the trip.The car was always clean and well maintained If you want someone who is a gentleman,expert and safe on hill driving, Lekdhen is the one.Would definitely book him again without a second thought.

Tashi bhai & his family are exceptionally superb hosts.Very humble behavior ,mouthwatering foods & picturesque location.Highly recommended to all.Even their dog bukso is very friendly,sweet & cute.

A Hidden Gem – Rangaroon,3rd Mile,Jorebanglow My recent visit to Rangaroon at Tashi Delek Homestay where me and my family spent 2 night and 3 days was nothing short of unforgettable. Nestled in the lap of the Himalayas, this serene village offers breathtaking scenic beauty that soothes the soul and refreshes the mind. Rolling tea gardens, misty hills, and a peaceful ambiance make it a perfect retreat from the chaos of city life. What truly sets Rangaroon apart, though, is its people. Warm, welcoming, and incredibly kind, the locals made my stay deeply personal and heartwarming. Whether it was sharing stories or guiding me through local trails, their hospitality left a lasting impression. Another highlight was the food – simple, local fare that was not only delicious but also extremely hygienic. Every meal felt like a home-cooked treat, prepared with love and care. We have been there in few days ago.This homestay is a big example to experiene the beautiful scenic beauty of nature.The owner is so good and friendly.You can enjoy the mountain view from the room.Their rooms are very clean and arranged.The food also good .If you want to experience the nature so closely you can visit there.

The word 'Homestay' get a real meaning at this place, we spend only one night here, but the memories will be with us forever, homestay owner Tashi, aunty and uncle all are very very friendly and helpful, food was very much homely and tasty. Don't expect luxury things in this remote hilly village, just enjoy and explore the beauty of the nature and kanchenjungha.

It's not big but enough for one or two days, nice hospitality, scenic beauty and Kanchan Jangha

A small trip of two days gave us a heavenly feeling! The location of Tashi Delek homestay helped me ful fil a long cherished dream of mine ..... To spend my time in the lap of nature.The Darjeeling city was gleaming like a garland of stars. Scenic beauty is beyond expression. Only peace prevails here. Owner Tashi, his parents and wife are very simple and well behaved with sweet smile. Food quality is very good. Rooms and wash rooms are neat and clean. I am still enveloped in that unforgettable experience I had amidst the beautiful nature with her sweet people. Request the nature lovers to stay at this homestay to enjoy some pleasant time. wish to go again and again.

Our stay was hampered by loud noise from the next room and the next homestay. We couldn't sleep properly. Food quality and quantity both are less and they don't even ask you. Only what matters to them are the photos which they take with the guests to post in facebook. Even after I personally requested him multiple times to not post our photo in social media they did it. I went to stay there paying my hard earned money so I don't expect to be a part of any advertisement.
