Very disappointing stay. The location was very odd and inconvenient. The room was dirty, the staff were unhelpful, and the service was poor. I would not recommend this hotel.

We have a very worst experience, the rooms were not as per the Google reviews and pictures , bedsheets were torn and dirty bathroom gyser was not working food is very worst Even the location was very worst I would suggest every one not to visit especially in monsoon season because the area is very slippery Overall worst experience

Their service is very bad.They demand full amount at the time of checking although we have paid 50% in advance at the time of booking. We need to order food atleast 4-5 hours ago and for breakfast it was previous night. If we demand extra rice that is also not available.Food was ok ok but the they serve it very late.

Location is very bad, the service was worse, the hotel management was supposed to provide commute due to the distance, but it was not provided & their behaviour was very bad as well, the in house food and room view was good though.

Terrible Experience – Completely Overpriced and Disrespectful I highly recommend avoiding Royoporus Taktsang in Darjeeling. Our stay was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Appalling Staff Behaviour: The staff, especially the person at the reception, has a terrible attitude and is incredibly rude and unprofessional. Subpar Food & Hidden Charges: We booked an all-inclusive meal plan (3 meals included), yet they had the audacity to charge us extra for morning tea. The quality of both the food and the breakfast was very poor. To make matters worse, they are strictly time-bound for lunch and dinner, showing zero flexibility or hospitality toward tourists. Miserable Rooms: The room condition was very poor, and there wasn’t even a TV in our room. Terrible Logistics: The pickup and drop service provided by the hotel was severely delayed, wasting our precious travel time. Final Verdict: This place is not friendly for tourists, families, or couples. Do not book your stay here.

Though I have not visited your place, but writing this to let the admin know that the behaviour of your agent named Sanchayita is very rude. Hence how would I expect a good hospitality from your end? I have lodge an enquiry through WhatsApp and it was clearly mentioned that I would love to know more on chat, not on call. But still she called me and I was busy at my personal work and disconnected the call. Again she texted me on WhatsApp and sent an audio message stating I should learn "vodrota". So please let me know what kind of vodrota is this from you guys to a new customer who had a query only. I completely lost interest to stay at Royoporus Taktsang. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a wonderful stay at Royoporus Taktsang, Darjeeling. The hotel is conveniently located just about 1.5 km from Darjeeling Mall, making it easy to explore the town while enjoying a peaceful atmosphere. The highlight of the stay was the breathtaking view from the room. Waking up to the stunning mountain scenery was truly unforgettable. The rooms were spacious, neat, and impeccably clean, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The staff members were exceptionally cordial, generous, and always ready to help with a smile. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The food was also delicious, with a good variety of options and excellent taste. Overall, Royoporus Taktsang offers the perfect combination of comfort, hospitality, cleanliness, and spectacular views. Highly recommended for anyone planning a trip to Darjeeling!

The behaviour of the hotel staff is very bad and rude. I don’t recommend at all

The director of the hotel behaves very rudely when you complaint against any service.The director even threatens you to make you out of the hotel.Don't believe in these reviews.you would get better hotel options in their price.

room service is very poor atleast we have to reminds three to four times for one issue, management is very poor as well , but food is good , located in good place, and another thing that pickup and drop facility is not good they attend passenger very lately..

Don't go. Room conditions very bad, dam room, very bad smell, totally unprofessional, They claim they will provide one time reciving droping facilities but when you asked for that they will waiting you above 1.5 hrs and some they will tell that driver not available, location also not good , Vehicle not reached to hotel maingate .

Excellent stay with great service and clean rooms. Very comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Nice location and beautiful view. Food quality was very good. Clean, peaceful, and value for money. Staff behavior was polite and helpful. Rooms were neat and well maintained. Overall experience was excellent.
