Our stay at Kulam-A Boutique Homestay at Mirik, was truly memorable. The hospitality was exceptional, and the family running the property made us feel welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. Even though we arrived late, they ensured we were comfortable and well looked after. The homestay is clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the authentic Nepali dishes that gave us a taste of the local culture. What makes Kulam truly unique is the immersive experience it offers. Guests can participate in tea-plucking sessions. The tea itself was outstanding—fresh, aromatic, and among the best we have tasted. If you are looking for a place that offers genuine hospitality, authentic local experiences, delicious food, and a peaceful retreat amidst nature, Kulam- A Boutique Homestay is the perfect choice. We had a very pleasant stay at this Kulam -A Boutique homestay. Some highlights of our experience: 🏡 Rooms were neat, clean, and well-maintained. 🍽️ Food was absolutely delicious and freshly prepared. 😊 Warm and welcoming nature of the hosts (Rajat)made us feel at home. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 The host and their family were kind, friendly, and very caring. 🍛 A wide variety of dishes were prepared, giving us the opportunity to enjoy different local(Nepali) flavors). ❤️ The hospitality and personal attention made our stay memorable.

The property itself is cozy, warm, and thoughtfully maintained — it truly feels like a home rather than just a place to stay. One of the highlights was the peaceful location. Just a short walk away is a serene Buddhist monastery where young monks study, chant, and play — watching them brought a sense of calm and simplicity that’s rare to find these days. The surroundings are close to nature, with a forest nearby, and to my surprise, friendly monkeys would occasionally show up to play around, making the environment feel even more lively and close to wildlife. If you’re someone who loves quiet spaces, positive energy, nature, and authenticity rather than crowded tourist spots, this place is perfect. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind, reconnect with nature, or simply enjoy a meaningful stay. Would definitely love to visit again!
