It's the best homestay in the Darjeeling i think !! I must recommend this homestay. It's owner ( Sonam jigmee) is such a sweet and kind hearted person I have ever seen u will feel like a home there . You can easily communicate without any hesitation he is very friendly and welcoming 🙏 . I told him that me and my family will reach his homestay by 1 noon but we got extremely late and reached there on 7 pm evening he kept faith on us waited for us for the whole day !!💫

Fantastic experience,very clean ambience and well maintained rooms Excellent hospitality by sonam bhai and yanky aunty ,they treat like their family ,must visit for sure. They helped us with the luggage and booking of cabs ,They provided us medicines when we felt sick,we are so thankful to them.i have never seen such good stay with such good people around,thank you.they are like family. Homely food available which tastes so good at economical price ,clean washrooms,safe for families,friends and all, excellent view from room ,very near for tigerhill view point and you can see kanchenjunga view from terrace,very peaceful place feels so good. Nearby medicals, groceries stores

It was an amazing stay for 2 days. Mr Sonam is very helpful person. In the stay, I got sick due to weather and Sonam managed to get the medicine. Food was super and tasty. All credit to Sonam and family.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Karsa Retreat. The rooms were spotless and cozy..plus the owner/ caretaker (Mr. Sonam) went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, from serving delicious home cooked Nepali/ Tibetan meals. If you want an authentic Darjeeling experience away from the crowded hotels, this is the place to be! Exact Location- Darjeeling, Jorebunglow, Near Tiger Hill

We had amazing experience at this retreat. Sonam and Yanki Aunty treated us so well with utmost gratitude and kindness. They are really welcoming❤️ About the rooms , they are really clean and cozy. We get to see the Kanchenjunga view from the terrace. Service is also real quick✅

It was an amazing stay at Karsa Retreat from 26-29/12/25. Sonam and Aunty treated us as a part of their family and especially while leaving gifted us Darjeeling tea, that’s a very good gesture for promoting tourism at their property!!!! Don’t miss the trek walk from Jorebunglow more to Darjeeling Mall through picturesque villages, hills and forests!!!! We were overwhelmed with the local food, offered at the property!

Rooms and service were awesome. We had one day stay and the owner took time to help us to book cabs. The place was clean and well maintained.

Warm Hosts. Aswam homely food. Nice view from rooftop. Watching the sunset while sipping a hot cup of tea while chit chatting with host Sonam is worth sipping.

We have stayed here recently on 11th Dec to 13th December 2025 .. they were so well behaved and feel like home. The food quality was superb and there is a aunty here who cooks food so delicious. The rooms were superb and well organised.

Rooms are bang on the buck at this price. Enjoyed the stay and homemade meal.

Mera stay yaha bohot hi yaadgar raha. Room aur bathroom ki cleanliness perfect thi, sab kuch itna neat and comfortable tha ki bilkul ghar jaisa feel hua. Location calm aur convenient thi, aur sabse khas baat – yaha ke log. Unki warmth, care aur friendly nature ne mera dil jeet liya. Bilkul ghar jaisa feeling aayi. Terrace se view simply awesome hai, aur agar aap humari tarah lucky rahe toh aapko khud Kanchanjanga ke breathtaking darshan bhi milenge. 🌄 Phir se bolungi, yaha ke host Sonam Bhai and aunty bohot hi friendly aur helpful hain. Unke positive nature ki wajah se pura stay aur bhi special ban gaya.
