It was a lovely, serene and peaceful place.Nandini ma'am and her staffs were wonderful hosts. They were so helpful all the time, whenever we needed them. There is a lovely waterfall for which u have to trek down the forest area.Nandini ma'am and her staff helped us get down to that lovely waterfall and we enjoyed a lot. One can always hear the rustling of leaves and the sound of the waterfall all the time.A must visit place for those willing to spend quality time in the midst of nature.Though there is a slight steep road leading to her place, still it's manageable for almost all.One can cook their own food in their kitchen.Apart from that, one can also order food which their cook prepares in her own separate kitchen and brings it down to the dining room.Overall,a pleasant experience ❤️

For me the stay at Wood Note Cottage was a dream come true. The cottage, surrounded by hills, forests, and an orange orchard, came out of some romantic fiction, a place we usually get to see in films on the Bronte novels. Nandini has a subtle aesthetic sense, and though her gardener takes care of the flowers, fruit trees, and hedges, they have managed to save it from looking artificial and manicured. It is a paradise --- far from the madding crowd--- where one gets to listen to silence, a rare entity in the modern times- which is enhanced by the sound of bird calls and a waterfall which runs inside the property. The icing on the cake is the love and care of Nandini and her assistants, the clean rooms and bathrooms, and the food which is homely and tasty. Story books, a binocular for bird lovers, wooden benches in the garden, a hammock hung between trees, and flowers in vases are touches that speak of the owner's sincere endeavour to make her guests happy. It is a place exclusively for those who respect nature and contribute in their little everyday acts to save the environment. (This includes a steep road down to the cottage and rough rocky steps to the waterfall). I hope Nandini would be able to maintain this place with the support of a steady inflow of guests.
