Such a bad experience , the management was so bad and the staffs were so unprofessional , the rooms ... I rather should not talk about it , so damn unclean my god , so disgusting , thekettles were not washed in years that they grew fungus and even mushrooms , the washrooms were unclean , there was no good water speed in the shower heads , and the rooms were filled with insects , we had a 2 yr old kid with us and in the room she was sleeping , the bed head a freaking acid insect and many insects were coming out of the bed and then going inside the bed . When we told our concerns to the owner , she was so nonchalant ' she said that me and my kids also come here to stay , we don't face these such things ' my god how can u be so nonchalant , it's ok we are old enough to defend ourselves from such harmful insects but how will a kid understand if he or she is sleeping , what will happen if a insect goes inside someone's ear , are they gonna take the responsibility of that , no right ? So I must say such a bad experience , hated it over there .

We visited this place on 20 06.2026 with family. We had a great experience. Rooms were clean and the food was delicious. Enjoyed a great view from the balcony.

It is an excellent homestay. Will recommend everyone to stay here to enjoy the view. Rooms are very spacious

The location of the homestay was beautiful, and the rooms were very nice and spacious. However, the service and food were disappointing. We also had some unexpected visitors at night. The worst thing was that in case of any emergency at night, there was no one available to help, as neither the owner nor the manager stays on the property.

I recently stayed at Cherry blossom homestay for 4 days and had a wonderful experience.. The rooms were spacious and offered a spectacular view of the valley. It felt like staying on the clouds and you need to stay there to understand what I mean.. Such a surreal experience.. The staff and the family members who take care of the guests are humble and amazing people.. Will be visiting this place again for the peaceful and quiet experience..

I stayed here by December end 2025. Hospitality was so good Foods were delicious Rooms are very clean and big enough with two beds, 4/5 persons group can stay in a room. Almighty KANCHENDZONGA is visible from room and balcony. Nearest view point Gumphadara is on walking distance. Tinchuley Monastery is also nearby.

The position of the homestay is excellent , the rooms are new , neat and clean 👌 the food is good but I would only suggest for a little more proportion of food .

A truly memorable stay with breathtaking views and heartfelt hospitality I stayed at this homestay in Tinchuley for two nights, and the experience was wonderful from start to finish. The room was beautifully organized, clean, and thoughtfully maintained, reflecting the care the hosts put into every detail. One of the highlights of this stay was the stunning view of Kanchenjunga. Visiting in the month of December(Christmas), we were lucky to witness an exceptionally clear and perfectly angled view of the majestic Kanchenjunga—something I will cherish for a long time. The homestay is located right next to the Gumbadhara Viewpoint, which makes the location even more special. The hospitality deserves a special mention. The hosts are extremely warm, friendly, and make you feel completely at home. Their attention to stay-related arrangements is very particular and well-managed. The food was absolutely delicious—simple, authentic, and truly homely. Every meal felt like it was cooked with love, just like home-cooked food should be. The construction and layout of the homestay are excellent, allowing ample natural light, positive vibes, and uninterrupted views of nature. Waking up to such scenery and calmness was a refreshing experience. Overall, this homestay offers a perfect blend of comfort, scenic beauty, and heartfelt hospitality. I had a very pleasant and peaceful stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tinchuley or Darjeeling who is looking for a warm, authentic, and soulful experience.

Honestly the best homestay in Tinchuley. Adjacent to the Gumbadara view point. You will get to see a majestic view of Kanchanjangha from the rooms itself. Rooms are very spacious, neat and clean. The caretaker aunty is very sweet. You will get to have delicious meals throughout the stay. Overall a very nice and homely experience.

It was one of the most beautiful and memorable trips I've had in the recent past no less thanks to the absolutely mesmerising ambience of and views from the homestay. In all my mountain travels, these were some of the best views out there. Aunty and didi were extremely cordial and helpful taking every care of us while respecting our privacy. And the food was simple yet very innovative and tasty. Aunty truly as we'd heard, is a great cook. All in all the place comes highly reccomended for all seeking some peace along with extraordinary views.
