Had a wonderful stay at Yolmoo Homestay, Tabakoshi! The location is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful natural scenery, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.
What truly made the experience special was the warm hospitality of the hosts. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Their kindness and care added a personal touch that made our stay memorable.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable stay, a relaxing atmosphere, and genuine hospitality. Looking forward to visiting again!
I had a very disappointing experience at Yolmo Homestay. I chose this place expecting warmth, hospitality, and good food, but unfortunately, it turned out to be the exact opposite.The food quality was extremely poor. The meals were not fresh, lacked taste, and were far below the standards one would expect from a homestay that hosts guests and charges for its services. It felt as though very little care or effort was put into preparing the food. What was supposed to be an enjoyable part of the stay became one of the biggest disappointments....Even more upsetting was the behaviour of the hosts and staff. They were rude, unwelcoming, and lacked basic courtesy. As guests, we expected to be treated with respect and kindness, but instead, we often felt ignored and uncomfortable because of their attitude. Hospitality is one of the most important aspects of any homestay, and sadly, this place failed completely in that regard....I rarely leave negative reviews, but I believe future travellers deserve to know about my experience before making a booking. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving both their food quality and their behaviour towards guests.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend Yolmo Homestay to others, and I would not choose to stay here again.
It's a nice place situated just beside the rangbhang river in tabakoshi.
The rooms are neat with good service and staffs.
The only glitch is the new construction...it is almost on the river bed obstructing the natural flow...and making it risky

According to food services & rooms ,the Home stay is good enough..but there is a serious problem with electricity..they didn't provide us electricity for the whole day.. some rooms having electricity & some are not..that is a big discrimination..when we informed them about this matter,they argued with us & even showed the audacity to tell us that if it doesn't suit us ,we may leave..It was so disgusting for us to tolerate this kind of behaviour from the staff members..
Everything is very good the position of the homestay, the behaviour of the owner is extremely good and especially the food is fantastic. Thank you to Yolmo homestay for providing us such good facilities.
A superb stay if you are looking for a calm and peaceful experience in the valley of the Rangbhang river. Can be enjoyed both in small and big groups. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Food excellent. If you are fond of walking among the hills look no further. If you like dogs there are several friendly dogs with whom you will have a good time

Worth spending
The host was polite and helpful. We enjoyed local cuisines here..local homegrown food..eggs and chicken. Overall, a wholesome experience. They organised a beautiful karaoke evening to entertain us. There is a beautiful park and monastry near the homestay. They had a cute Lhasa dog as well. Enjoy the soothing sound of the river all day..Just that the road to this homestay is a little problematic. An experienced driver can only navigate these roads. However, there are multiple roads leading to this homestay. Choose a well maintained road for best experience!

You can get both river and tea garden together here. Can't describe the beauty in word. Owner behaviour is very humble. Most beautiful property in tabakoshi.Try to book cab from owner, it will very cheap
