Potala Homestay Potala Homestay turned out to be a perfect stay at Algarah, especially for travellers going towards Sikkim via the Lava–Pedong road. At ₹500 per person, it offers far more than expected. The room is very spacious with four beds, comfortable enough for a group without feeling cramped. The bathroom is clean and well maintained, which made the stay stress-free. The location is excellent, right in front of the Lava Police Station, making it easy to find and giving a sense of safety. The owner is a very polite, kind elderly person who runs the homestay alone and genuinely cares about guests. Food is easily available just outside at Pamela Restaurant. Overall, a warm, comfortable, and extremely satisfying stay that I’d happily choose again.
