Had an absolutely wonderful stay at this homestay in Darjeeling! Everything was perfect—from the comfort and warmth to the beautiful hospitality.

Also, heartfelt thanks to Vikas and Rashmika for taking such great care of the property and for hosting us so warmly along with Jayshree. They were always there with warm smiles and made sure everything was taken care of effortlessly.

Our stay at Ridgeview Chalet Homestay in Darjeeling from April 25th to 29th, 2026, was nothing short of magical. Ms. Jayashree Pandey and her wonderful team—Mr. Bikash, Ms. Gayatri, and Mr. Nikit Pradhan—went above and beyond to ensure our absolute comfort. Their exceptional hospitality and warmth made this the finest stay of my life, surpassing all previous hotel and homestay experiences.
The house itself is charmingly decorated and beautifully maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed having the entire space to ourselves, including two bedrooms, a dining room, and a cozy attic bedroom. Each morning began with a delicious breakfast, where we happily chose freshly prepared puri sabzi and aloo parathas from their varied five-course options.
Navigating Darjeeling's steep, winding roads requires incredible skill, and the driving team was exemplary. Mr. Nikit is an exceptionally skilled driver who maneuvered his Innova through the mountainous terrain with effortless ease. Mr. Anil Kumar and Mr. Deo Kumar were equally adept, and the three guided us seamlessly through four days of sightseeing, while Mr. Nikit also ensured a smooth transit to and from Bagdogra Airport. To crown an already perfect trip, we were blessed with a breathtaking glimpse of Mt. Kanchenjunga right from our balcony just before leaving. It was an unforgettable finale to a perfect stay.
Stayed here with my 6 friends, and this place was an absolute gem for our group trip. The spacious accommodations comfortably fit all 7 of us without feeling cramped everything from the rooms to common areas was spot-on.
Service was top-notch; the staff went above and beyond with warm hospitality, quick responses.
The real highlight was the breathtaking views of the hills and valleys right from the property—waking up to that scenery made the trip unforgettable. Highly recommend!
Me and my 5 friends stayed here for almost a week and let me tell you the place is insane for the price...and the people here are SOOOO SWEEEET....they make it feel home.....the owner mam is very understanding...they have their driver and car so you don't need to book through someone else.... the place has a very good view, sometimes kanchanjangha is also visible.... TOTALLY WORTH IT
Beautiful place to enjoy Darjeeling, it has excellent view, rooms are well decorated, super clean.Most importantly the host Jayashree and her entire team, they offered every comfort anyone can ask for and the home cooked foods were delicious.
I highly recommend Ridge View Chalet Homestay and love to visit again.

THE CHALET WAS EXCELLENT. THE BEHAVIOR OF OWNER JAYASHREE PANDY AND HER HUSBAND WAS VERY GOOD. THE STAFF WERE ALSO GOOD AND HELPFUL. THE SMALL TINGU DRIVER AND THE LADY COOK WERE VERY FRIENDLY.
