Age old property maintained by West Bengal government. Rooms are nice but insects are there. Food quality quantity both are good

A beautiful heritage property with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. The colonial charm, well-maintained surroundings, makes the place memorable.

Overall good experience. There's room for improvement surely. The bathroom of our room was not very clean. The windows of the rooms are tight and some cannot be opened.

Really wonderful

It was the morgan house cottages in the unkempt jungle. Peaceful, lush green, misty, eerie nights. Wooden finishing in the rooms with all needed and modern facilities. Good food and room services. Only problem was the phone network. If not connected on the wifi, you're isolated.

Morgan House is Spectacular! =========================== ​Our recent 2-night stay at the famous Morgan House, Kalimpong was nothing short of magical - a truly mind boggling experience that exceeded all expectations. Highly secure Morgan House building has 6 rooms of different category and prices with 5 rooms in 1st floor and 1 room in ground floor which has the reception, dining hall and seating area. We were lucky enough to stay in the most talked about Room 101 at 1st floor of the main Morgan House building which once belonged to Lady Morgan.This is certainly the best room of this delightful and exotic property.The room is incredibly spacious and houses all modern amenities. There are 8 Morgan cottages in close proximity to the main building. Most of the local tourist spots are nearby. Ambience of the property and its surroundings are beyond words. There us a massive Army Golf Course just opposite to the Morgan House. Also,there is a beautiful Green Gale Cafe run by Indian Army within few metres. ​Besides the beauty of the property, the food, hospitality and service are truly the USPs of Morgan House. Food was so very sumptuous. Every delicacy was super yummy. A huge shoutout to the wonderful food section who went above and beyond to make our dining experience special. Thanks a million to the entire team of Morgan House for taking such great care of us throughout our stay. ​The booking process through West Bengal Tourism website was completely smooth and seamless. Thank you everyone. Everything about Morgan House is top class. We are overwhelmed with gratitude and highly recommend this exotic property to anyone visiting Kalimpong . And yes - Morgan House is not at all haunted. We super loved every minute of our stay. would always be our first choice whenever we plan for Kalimpong again.

I stayed in Tashiding Tourism Property (Morgan House Annexe) in a premium room of the 1st floor. The room is well maintained, with all the amenities, there is a big terrace along with the room . Kanchenjunga can be viewed from the room as well from the terrace. The property has been renovated recently, still some renovation work is in progress. There is free parking place for cars. This is a heritage property located adjacent to the Morgan House and opposite to the Army Golf course. Free Wifi facility is available in all the rooms. The staffs are very much courteous, l would like to mention the name of Mr. Andreas Tamang specially. I wish to visit the place again in the near future.

Morgan House is a stunning colonial-era heritage lodge run by WBTDC, and yes, it has a real haunted reputation. Set on a quiet hilltop with pine trees all around, the architecture and old-world rooms instantly take you back in time. The lawn and views of the valley are beautiful, especially at dawn. Many guests visit for the eerie stories. Locals say Lady Morgan’s spirit still walks the halls. At night the wooden floors creak and the place feels atmospheric, but not uncomfortably scary. Rooms are clean, spacious, and maintain vintage charm with fireplaces and period furniture. Staff is polite and helpful. Proper safety and security is in place throughout the property, so families feel comfortable despite the ghost stories. Food at the in-house restaurant is simple and tasty. Downsides: the building feels old in places and network is patchy. Book early — it gets full fast. Overall, Morgan House is perfect if you love history, misty hills, and a touch of mystery

We did not stay here but simply viewed it from outside. It is a beautiful, quaint house. Our only regret is the fact that only guest can enter the property.

It's a long I wanted to stay this property. Finally got a booking here in main building. It's such a great experience to stay here in this luxurious property. Everything is beautiful about this property. Location. Ambience, stuff behaviour. Only food quality can be improved a little. A vast lawn, outside table with chair, security- perfect.
