We were there for 2 weeks in the month of May. We actually planned to stay for 1 week. However, we liked the place so much that we extend our stay for one more week. The caretaker Menuka di was very welcoming and made delicious food. We felt like we are in home. Aunti also very welcoming. We worked from there and haven't faced any significant Wifi issue. The place is very for staycation or vacation.

They are non professional, unhygienic, use expired items for cooking food. Upon caught that old lady started harassing us. Menuka their so called house help is also pathetic. Pretend to be something and provide something else. Bathrooms are unclean. Smelling laundry

I stayed for 3 months at Basant Hrithu from May through August to escape unbearable heat and humidity of Kolkata summer. Very happy and satisfied with my stay. Homestay is perfectly located in a quiet, serene corner of Kalimpong just 2 km from the bustle of the main market, and offers a direct, panoramic view of Kanchenjunga from its terrace. It strikes the ideal balance between peaceful mountain living and quick, easy access to town. The property is new and immaculately maintained. My room and bathroom were spotless and just as inviting as they appear in the photos. Nihal, his mother, and Menuka di manage the homestay with genuine warmth and professionalism. Menuka di’s home-cooked meals became a daily highlight. They struck the perfect balance between attentive care and respectful privacy. My experience at Basant Hrithu exceeded all expectations. It was a wonderful three months of working from mountain. I wouldn’t hesitate to return on my next visit to Kalimpong.

Well the place was beautiful as in pictures and more beautiful in reality. I love love the food prepared by Menuka de, she has magic in her hands and also very polite and humble. I’m gonna come again just because of Menuka de❤️ If anyone is thinking to visit this place do not have second thoughts just go for it!

The stay was fantastic, mountain view from the window was captivating 🏔️, we stayed for around 12 days..and it was superb. The dish prepared by Meenuka Didi was great. Every night we use to do star gazing ⭐..it was so peaceful. Host Nihal was so supportive and welcoming. It was a wonderful stay ....I highly recommend this homestay.🖖
