Wonderful Homestay Experience in Rangaroon
We stayed at Nilam Homestay in Rangaroon for two days as a couple in August 2026, and we had a wonderful experience. Bisan Rai and his wife, Nilam, are incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful hosts who made us feel right at home.
The location is one of the highlights. From the balcony of our room, we could enjoy beautiful views of Kanchenjunga. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained.
The homemade food was another highlight—fresh, delicious, and made with lots of care. We truly enjoyed every meal.
Overall, a lovely place to stay if you are looking for a peaceful homestay, beautiful mountain views, delicious homemade food, and genuinely hospitable hosts. Highly recommended! ❤️
Very good hospitality, clean and tidy rooms, simple homecooked, tasty meals made our stay amazing.
One of the best homestays I've ever stayed in. Run by Bishan Rai ji and his wife , their hospitality is heartwarming. My mother and father fell down and fractured their limbs in Rangarun. The way they took care of them, even bringing medicines for them from 15km away, really touched us.
Would love to visit again.!!!

They should increase food quantity,
Rooms are very small, bed are small, overall for 1 night it's considerable but, bisan ji and her wife are not familiar it's clear . And they even won't offe biscuit with tea.. at morning, and. Their organisations are not hospitalized
Choose any other homestay, for ranagaroon..becoz the senic beauty of RANGAROON IS OWSOME.. U CAN SEE DETAILS VIDEO IN MY CHANNEL "STAYFITSTAYLONG"
It was an amazing experience..rooms are very much clean..food is lyk home quality . behaviour was very good..

Among the three homestays selected in Rangaroon, we finalized Nilam homestay as our final destination. Both Bishan Rai ji and Nilam di welcomed us very warmly. We lived there 2 days (30.11.24 & 01.12.2024) and over whelmed by their hospitality. We spent a nice time with their family. Evening was melodious with the presence of Bishan ji, Salim bhai and Nilam di. Rooms are neat & clean. Food was superb.
