Staying here was truly one of the most unforgettable experiences I've had. From the delicious food to the cozy lodging, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. But what truly set it apart was the warmth and hospitality of Taman Da – it felt less like a stay and more like being welcomed into a home. This place has left a lasting impression on my heart, and it's an experience I’ll always treasure.

One of the best homestay experiences you can get in this small beautiful village. It is run by Ranjan bhaiya, a very friendly, adventure loving and hard working man. He makes delightful tasty meals using local produce. The rooms are clean and the facilities are top notch. He even took us on a wonderful hike across the village and then down the river side, where we swam in icy cold water and climbed up an old cave. It was a beautiful experience and I can't wait to visit again.

I recently spent three delightful days at Yanki Homestay and was left in awe of its natural charm and the heartfelt hospitality. Nestled at the banks of the serene Rangbhang River in Tabakoshi village, just 3 KM away from Mirik, this homestay is a hidden gem for nature lovers and adventure seekers. Its location, about 68 KM from NJP Railway Station, makes it easily accessible yet wonderfully secluded. What sets Yanki Homestay apart is the personal touch of its owner. The entire area is beautifully decorated with exotic plants that he has lovingly nurtured himself, adding a vibrant and calming charm to the surroundings. Everywhere you look, there is a delightful burst of greenery that showcases his passion for gardening and nature. The hospitality was exceptional. We were treated to delicious meals prepared entirely from fresh, garden-grown vegetables. Knowing that every ingredient was handpicked added a wholesome and authentic flavor to the food. The owner personally ensured that every dish was perfect, reflecting his dedication and care. And of course, how can one forget about the Darjeeling tea (First Flush) offered and served by the owner! Sipping this exquisite tea while soaking in the breathtaking views of the surroundings was an experience like no other. For those fond of swimming and diving, the homestay's location by the Rangbhang River is a dream come true. We spent hours enjoying the cool, refreshing waters, which added an adventurous yet soothing element to our stay. Yanki Homestay is not just a place to stay; it is a sanctuary of tranquility and beauty, where the warmth of the host and the natural splendor come together to create an incredible experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with a personal touch. Highly recommended for an unforgettable retreat! "जिसकी ये ख़्वाहिश है कि प्रकृति के गोद में एक घर हो, पास में नदिया की लहरों के गीत हों, बादलों को मुट्ठी में लेने की ख़्वाहिश हो।" this homestay is a great place for her/him.
