A must visit homestay. You will be blown away by the hospitality and location. Beautiful and serene. I recommend you to stay in the Eagles room ❤️

The whole experience depends on whether you have a pro/pahadi driver with a SUV steering in their hand or a gaadi tera bhai chalayega type driver!! If its the later one..then god bless you..coz only thing that bothered me was the road to the property. Other facets:- 1) Room- The rooms are amazing with slight adjustment here n there. You need to understand that you are in the hills!! The views and the amenities are amazing!! 2) Management and the staff:- If the rooms are amazing, the management and the staffs are notch higher!! I had an issue with my earlier booking and the owner/management team offered me an upgrade to Hornbill..which was amazing!! The staffs are always eager to help and donot create fuss when you complain!! 3) Food- This can be a slight turnoff as the options are limited and the chef can show some signs of improvement!! This is the only reason that I gave 4 star for service!! 4) Property- The stay apartment/suites are amazing while the lawn and garden can be added/modified into a better place. The dining hall/reception was under construction which is much needed!! Overall a must stay!!

The property was not well maintained, it was dirty. The person misguided us and the route too was dangerousand not good...

Great place to enjoy with friends and family. Great food. One drawback the route to this place is not so good and there was a lack of maintenance the rooms were dirty and not maintained... service can improve..

I went on a trip with friends, a friends' reunion. The accommodation allowed us to sit, chat and chill out all together. |The food was delicious and our hostess indulged us in our requests for fried food that the cloudy, rainy weather made us crave. There are enough bedrooms, some better than others. |The approach to Birdsong and the paths through the property could do with improvement

I had an amazing time at the Birdsong, right from the beginning when I called the owner to enquire about a room and she graciously accommodated in the Finch suite when she came to know I was a solo female traveller. The location is serendipitous. I needed to unwind and I am so so glad I got to do it at this amazing place. My parents can't wait to visit this place and I guess that's a high praise. The food is tasty and the housekeeping staff lovely. As a bonus, the in house dogs are the cutest when they want treats. Definitely recommend.

We just came back from a wonderful vacation there.|The place is located on the mountainside, two kms below the town. Several cottages/suites are spread out on the property. It has been thoughtfully designed to integrate with the landscape. We were surrounded by fruit trees, flowers and a spectacular view of the valley below and the mountains above! We got to watch a beautiful sunrise accompanied by chirping birds! We also got to trek to a nearby tea garden which was very energizing!|The rooms are tastefully decorated in a rustic chic style. The decor attempts to bring nature indoors by using natural materials to furnish the rooms. At the same time, all the technology comforts we are used to have also been made available. The food was homely and delicious, served by attentive and courteous staff. |Overall, if you are looking to enjoy some solitude amidst nature, I would highly recommend a visit to Birdsong.

Must visit place of you ever visit Mirik. One of the best hotels in the area

Birdsong in Mirik busty is a place that makes you want to visit again and again. Beautiful resort with all the amenities to make your stay very comfortable, clean, and the food is really well prepared. Transport needs were taken care of and the whole experience was stressfree and very memorable.

Birdsong feels a little piece of heaven with its cosy cottages tucked into the hillside. It has comfortable rooms with verandas to enjoy a cup of Darjeeling tea while taking in the expansive vistas. It was the perfect getaway for our group -- remote but not too remote, rustic but with all the modern conveniences. Wi-fi was fast, the heating was great, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing experience at Birdsong. The property is very well maintained, rooms are super clean and the apartments are full of amenities. The food was lip smacking. We didn’t even go out to see Mirik due to the amazing apartments. Alka Maam was an amazing host.

This air bnb is at such a nice location in all in between the nature away from all the noice n pollution. I just love how helpful and friendly the host and staff was. They even arranged a bonfire for us
