What a refreshing stay with a wonderful family! My family and I visited Ramro Farms Homestay in Mirik for a weekend. Mr. Gurung and his family have thought about all the tiny details to make your stay as comfortable as possible, not forgetting their warm hospitality. The rooms, beds and facilities were top notch! The interiors were super clean, and the beds were probably the comfiest I have slept in India. The duvet was dreamy! The fresh air, flora and fauna, near the lake sets the scene for a family vacation perfectly. We were welcomed with hot tea and snacks when we initially arrived. Even the tea that Mrs.Gurung made and served was top of the line flush. My entire family became a fan of her tea instantly. The Gurung family also takes pride in their organic veggie and fruit garden in the property, a quick tour around their garden was such a treat. Shiitake Mushrooms, Kiwis, Squash, Tree tomatoes, leafy veggies, and many more! After a stroll and activities around the Mirik lake, Mr. Gurung offered us to make a fire that all of us enjoyed pre-dinner. Dinner was absolutely delicious with majority of the veggies and ingredients from their organic garden. That mushroom soup was magical! Great coversations flowed throughout the evening. The breakfasts provided was also very remarkable. The Gurung family made their own scones! Everything in this trip was marvellous for my family, what a charming and magical experience to lock in the memory vault. Thank you Mr. RP Gurung and family.
