They charge 1900 per day per person.. But service 👎👎. No mirror in bathroom.. Basin is too small.. Basin tap not working.. Very bad experience 😞😞..

Our stay at Royal Retreat Homestay in Dawaipani was absolutely fantastic. Everything about this place exceeded our expectations. The view from the homestay is breathtaking, and the location is perfect for enjoying the beauty of the mountains. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed, with great attention to detail in the interiors. The service was excellent, and every aspect of our stay was well taken care of. A special mention goes to the owner, who is an extremely humble, friendly, and kind person. He made us feel at home and added a personal touch to our experience. We had a wonderful time staying here and would definitely love to visit again.

One of the best homestays in Dawaipani! The view from the homestay is absolutely amazing and makes the stay truly memorable. The food was delicious, hygienic, and prepared with great care. The hosts were very warm, friendly, and hospitable. The dining area was beautifully maintained and provided a wonderful atmosphere for meals. The rooms and washrooms were neat, clean, well-maintained, and tastefully decorated. Every aspect of the stay reflected comfort and attention to detail. I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Dawaipani. It is definitely a place worth experiencing at least once!

GOOD HOSPITALITY & FOOD

Our stay at Royal Retreat Homestay was overall a pleasant experience, especially because of its absolutely breathtaking location. Surrounded by mesmerizing natural beauty, the homestay undoubtedly enjoys one of the best scenic spots, making the stay peaceful and visually unforgettable. The rooms were clean, hygienic, and fairly well-maintained, which added to the comfort of the stay. However, the bathrooms definitely need improvement. There were noticeable plumbing issues, and although geysers were available, the hot water supply was somewhat inconsistent at times. Talking about the food, the taste was genuinely good and the meals were enjoyable. However, the quantity served felt quite limited, and guests often had to request additional servings. Considering the comparatively higher pricing, a little more generosity in portions would certainly enhance the dining experience. The homestay is managed by three gentlemen who were cooperative and satisfactory in their service. While they did ensure a decent stay experience, a bit more attentiveness and refinement in hospitality could make the experience even better. Despite a few areas that need improvement, the overall experience at Royal Retreat Homestay was good, primarily because of its unmatched scenic charm and comfortable atmosphere. With some improvements in facilities and service, this place has the potential to become truly exceptional.

In a word, this homestay is extraordinary—a fantastic place to stay. The staff are also excellent and extremely courteous. Therefore, I highly recommend that all of you visit this homestay.

Great place , great view . If you are looking for serenity then this is the place. The property gives you the vibes of hotel rooms but the coziness of home stay is intact . The serenity , the food , the place you will fall in love with it . You must visit if you want a quiet place. Would visit again .

We stayed here for 2 days 15&16 Feb and it was a wonderful stay. One of the best homestay at Dawaipani with majestic views.Well furnished rooms with clean bathroom. Dining area and balcony is top notch.

We have stayed at DAWAIPANI - ROYAL RETREAT HOME STAY from 29th to 31st Jan'26...Just AWESOME.....it is little remote from 6 Mile Bazar but within 10/15 minutes away.....You can see here from homestay a wide range of KANCHENJUNGA from balcony and rooms facing mountains and side room.....Homestay is wonderful and its surrounding beauties are awesome.....At evening, it is seen enlightened wonderful DARJEELING.....MR. PREMIT ZIMBA, the owner is polite and really gentleman and has become friend of mine.....Service and foods are quite good....From all around balcony, you may see wonderful views of BHUTANI's Villages at the mountains.....Homestay Restaurant / Drawing Room is well decorated and nice....gardens of homestay are equally good....PREMIT has decorated his homestay so beautifully that we have got surprised.....Just visit and stay a day....Rooms are big and well furnished and enlightened.....all 9 rooms are wonderful....//DHRUBA JYOTI SARKAR

Royal Retreat Homestay is located in a superb spot with beautiful surroundings. Room 103 is especially awesome—spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. The service is also great, with special thanks to Nayan and the owner, Premit, for their warm hospitality. When you visit Dawaipani, this homestay is a must-stay! The only challenge is finding it—ask for the chicken shop at Dawaipani, go down the road, and at the turning corner, you'll find Dim Khim Homestay. Royal Retreat is located just behind it.

Really very good homestay. Food and hospitality also very good. Wonderful Location. The staff at this hotel were absolutely amazing from start to finish. They were always smiling, polite, and ready to assist with anything we needed. Neat and clean room and bathroom. I’m happy to stay here. Highly recommended to everyone.
