We had booked this homestay two months in advance for the dates 15th and 16th August 2025 for a group of six people. During the booking, the owner assured us that we would get two rooms on the first floor on Day 1, and on Day 2, we would get three rooms (two on the first floor and one on the ground floor). This arrangement was clearly *mentioned in the bill* provided to us.
However, when we arrived, the actual arrangement was completely different. They gave us one room on the first floor and one room on the ground floor for the first day. When we showed the bill and the written confirmation to the owner, they casually informed us that the first-floor rooms had already been given to someone else. As compensation, they gave us an small room on the ground floor, which had just one window. We had no choice but to adjust.
They promised that the correct rooms would be provided the next day, but the owner did not even show up on Day 2, and nothing changed. This experience showed a clear lack of responsibility and professionalism in managing bookings and customer expectations.
While we did enjoy the food, which was genuinely good, this kind of mismanagement and inconsistency significantly affected the joy and comfort of our trip. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place unless they honor their commitments.
Went there with a group of friends. Enjoyed the serenity of nature and the hospitality of a very down to earth family. Always eager to help. Food was prepared with their own produce in their huge farmland. If you want to enjoy a slow life away from the hustle and bustle of daily city life, be there to experience silence.
It's really a nice place. If one wants adventure & love to get wet in the water fall then it's the perfect place.
Rongo River side farm stay is really a very nice place to visit where one will get traditional food & taste.

দারুন সার্ভিস,যখন যা চাইছি সব ব্যবস্তা করে দিয়েছেন।
প্রত্যেক টা রুম থেকে view ।।
Very nice place to visit. Homely environment. They are very caring and attentive. Food was good. Specially they used fresh veggies from their own garden. I am totally satisfied with their service. Love this place ❤️❤️❤️
Pros:
- Rooms are great, clean and well maintained, specially loved those 1st floor corner rooms with balcony.
- We got proper service without any issue.
Food quality and taste was good.
- Stayed there for a day, there's not much of view except for the village and valley. You explore Rongo village and river side jungle area.
- There's a small garden with small sitting area and farm. Kids will love this place.
Cons:
- Black tea wasn't that good, milk tea was ok. They use some kind of flavoured tea.
- They charged Rs.5 extra for each 1L water(MRP Rs. 20). We paid Rs.500 for 20L water. We could get it for the MRP from out side shop near the property. But we didn't ask the price in advance.
They canceled our booking one month after confirmation and just few days before our journey to accommodate another 25 people, which is highly unprofessional and beyond ethics.
