The view from the himali park is mind blowing & ,we got clear view of kanchenjunga.. as well as the food is very homely, liked it ..
Some points i want to add, which definately needs to be take care is the room maintenance, we have got a very bad smell from the room, the room wall was damped..
Geyser was by default off from their side..Have to wait more than half an hour for the geyser turn on.. The personnel from the kitchen was very rude & arrogant never wanted to listen the guest.
Cozy homestay with all necessary basic amenities.
The owner cooks quite well.
This is the nearest homestay to Himani View Point aka Himani Park. The view point offers WIDE view of the teesta plain.
Strongly recommended 👍
It's been wonderful experience..... We are happy to stay there.... We spend our magical moments in sittong ❤️❤️❤️
Very rude behaviour of homestay owner. Location is very good but behaviour can ruin your stay there.
Nice experience

. The food is also very tasty. The viem is also very wonderfull.
Not recommended.
The room quality is not good .
Damp smell,
Mainly the behaviour of the owner/ manager is pathetic.
Surprisingly awful expression and the attitude.
We stayed at Himali Homestay a few months ago, and it was a really pleasant experience. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the atmosphere felt homely.
The food was simple, fresh, and tasty just like home cooked meals. The overall vibe was peaceful, which made it a great break from the busy routine.
Even after months, I still remember the stay fondly. I would definitely recommend Himali Homestay to anyone looking for comfort and genuine hospitality.
The Himali homestay at Daragaon is unique for its mesmerizing surroundings full of green forest, white Kanchenjunga and Teesta river down.
It was an awesome experience to stay in this homestay. It's very close to the Himali view point from where you can get a 360 degree view of the surroundings with the river Teesta and the mighty Kanchenjunga.
great hospitality , tidy rooms and toilets , homely food along with a stunning viewpoint that gives access to a 360° visual of the mountains and the neighbouring towns of Namchi & Rangpo in Sikkim. Also they have a great assortment of flowers in their pathways and cute patsy dogs whose fur and little tail wagging would make your stay ever more joyful!
Beautiful location. Excellent views. Outstanding service.
The view is nice, the himali point has a nice view but except that nothing else is enticing. The rooms are kept tidy and clean.
-the main complain is, they are way too stingy with their geyser. You have to personally ask them to turn it on after which they will turn off in max 15 mins.
-the food is disgusting. ratio of 4:20 in chicken and potatos. Like seriously? 20 potatoes with some chicken? When we asked to make softer potatoes and less in quantity and they didn't listen at all. Making the same disgusting stuff. Extremely limited options for food.
-they don't trust u at all. Order us to keep the main door open just so they don't have to knock.
-never pick up calls when we call and don't call back either
-water isn't available in rooms, u have to everytime trek down and awful abomination of stairs and after all that you don't even get the courtesy to fill or give a new water bottle. You have to yourself fill it or bend down to pick up a bottle. (Yes even elder people with back problems)
Overall i wouldn't recommend at all. Avoid at all costs unless you want to suffer.
Great service and clean, comfortable rooms. Their foods were great and they have very friendly beautiful dogs and garden.
I must say this is the best location in ramadhura burmaik. Good food, best service and beat proce. I stayed here in durga puja vacation 11th oct 2024, The USP of this place is that it is near to himali view point. Mesmirizing view from the room and view point. Mostly recommended.
Well, except for the location, nothing is good. You will get an excellent view from the Himali Park if the weather is clear. The rooms are clean and tidy and the food tastes good.
Thats being said, the homestay experience is very poor. This feels more like a hotel rather than a homestay. Let me mention some of it.
• The geasyer is by default off. You have to tell them to turn the main switch, which they will turn off after 15 minutes.
• There's no water bottle in the room. You have to go to the kitchen every time to refill it by yourself.
• They are way too cautious about the room and the amenities (which are a few by the way). It feels like the room is not yours and you can't be comfortable in your own room you rented. I mean, c'mon, who deliberately makes their room dirty? Trust your guests.
• I am not a foodie person, and can eat anything. I am not judging the taste of the foods. But who put more than 20 pieces of potatoes in 4 people's chicken?
• They serve the foods in very early hours, without asking. They will just knock on the door with the food, it doesn't matter if you are sleeping.
• There was a fly in one of the tea cups, and upon confrontation they put the blame on us! Seriously? We would put fly in the tea?
• The owners are too tetchy. I have stayed in so many homestays before, but didn't find such behaviour. I mean, if you want to be professional, very good, be like that. Then provide the basic services like a hotel. Usually, homestay owners are much more humble.
Overall, the homestay is not recommended, especially for bachelors. Family people might find it okay, but not the guys who would just come to relax with their friends. Bachelors do not bother anyone, and they do not want extra services. I have stayed far less good homestays but never felt this much irritated. I am writing this review from the room itself, so you can get my frustration.
In one word 'Awasome'
Can one give me contact number of this property??
