Cheap and best place in darjeeling

First of all you have to understand that this is not any luxurious Apartment or any kind of Hotel. This one is just a guest house with too basic facilities. (Note: No bike parking available, even the host there, cannot help you to park your bike. As ts entrance is through another Private Hotel, there is asubtle clash between the two authorities) I have booked two rooms for 4 person as Non-contributor. Facilities we got: First Room: 3 single beds (with diety pillow and blanket, though changed the sheets and cover after insisting), geyser for hotwater, mirror, inverter bulb, a tv (never turned it on though), western toilet seat (clean tbh), hanger, two plug points, two chairs, a small tea table. Second Room: 2 single beds (comparatively clean sheets and covers), indian toilet, rest of those almost same. 📢>One big problem is the water is not that clean, as the tanks lead are open few a times for water pouring often found some sprinkle of dust and so on (Not recommended for brushing and all). > gate of a room is slightly broken on the corner, cold breeze infiltrates infiltrates. >They take 500rs caution money (refundable) which I think is barely essential for the place. > Mall Road is around 13-15 minutes of walk from here. > The surroundings are clean though. You won't get disturbed here. >Therefore if the sky is too clear and your fate aligns, you can get a view of Kanchenjunga. >If you come with a bachelor group who knows how to adjust on accommodation and want to save some money on the trip, it is a suitable place. But not merely reccommendable for Families.

Good. As per price it's good. But maintenance need to improve. Only one main problem is no food available in this property even very few shops here

Staff behaviour is very very good.He talk you like a friend.But holiday home was too bad. 2 beded room was so small.No daily house keeping facilities.bed cover and blanket was very dirty.There was no fooding facilities;so you need to go outside for lunch and dinner also outside food price was really too high..its true that holiday home to Mall road only 1.2km; but it's very tough to walk.

Best place in Darjeeling. Silent place but 1.8km from mall road.fooding facility not available in holiday home, aunty canteen within 2-3 mint avarage food available.24hours geyser available.This price point very good property.

Heritage site

Place is ok but management is not proper as there is no fooding facility , you won't be provided even the basic tea, coffee , omlette or Maggie for refreshment , and it is around 1.5 km from mall road . And as per traffic rules all vehicles go till mall road only and u have to come on foot till mall road for taking taxi for sight seeing also. Yes you will get Kanchanjunga View from the hotel only .
