From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality by the hosts, Iswar sir and his wife.The rooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds. We also appreciated the thoughtful amenities. The food was delicious, with fresh and locally sourced ingredients. We particularly enjoyed the homemade cooking, and we were always happy to try the local specialties. I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Grihabash Homestay in Pedong, Kalimpong, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! Every meal was a culinary delight, with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and traditional recipes that left me craving for more. The location is perfect for exploring Pedong and silk route, with plenty of scenic hiking trails, historic sites, and cultural attractions nearby. I travelled solo to Pedong for some peace and quiet and greenery, and Mr and Mrs Sharma took good care of me. The rooms are clean, the homemade food is lovely, and the view from the balcony is gorgeous. Loved watching the sunrise, sunset, and the occasional rain every day. The driver Dipen bhai is great and drove me to lots of quiet places without crowds.
