Rajalim Homestay

Very disappointing experience. The behavior of the staff and local people associated with the homestay was rude and unprofessional. Unnecessary political discussions made us feel uncomfortable, and the atmosphere became hostile instead of welcoming. We did not feel respected as guests. Overall, a very bad experience and not a place I would recommend.

We went to the Kalimpong Offbit trip with our Family as a Holiday. This tour is a part of the "Banalata Group" Travel Agency. But the experience in Rajalim Home Stay is Horrible. They are not eligible to star rating even 0 Star. As we are the Guest at here, they think that It is as if they are doing us a favor by letting us stay. The service I won't even go into that. For starters, street dogs wander into their Dyning Hall. Moreover, whenever we try to say anything about our drawback, he intimidates us in his capacity as a political leader. He even went so far as to threaten to beat us during the heated exchange. Natural beauty does not always command recognition. The mood also depends a joyful tour. Enjoy the beauty of nature with other travel agents and homestay operators. After all You have gone there to spend time as a traveler. Very Bad Experience.

Rajalim homestay'র সাথে আমাদের এতটাই খারাপ অভিজ্ঞতা হয়েছে যে ওনারা One star Rating এরো যোগ্য নন, সর্বাগ্রে উনাদের ব্যবহার এতটাই বাজে যে ওনারা আমাদেরকে মারবার পর্যন্ত উপক্রম করেছিলেন, একজন অতিথিদের সাথে ব্যবহারটাই ওনারা জানেন না। এছাড়াও ওনাদের কিচেনে রাস্তার কুকুর ঢুকে যায় কোন দৃষ্টিপাত করেন না, তাছাড়া উনি political leader হিসেবে আমাদেরকে ভয় দেখানোর চেষ্টা করেছিলেন। আশা করি এর বেশি Feedback আপনাদের দেওয়ার দরকার নেই আপনারা নিশ্চয়ই বুঝতে পারছেন যে ওখানে বেড়াতে গেলে কি কি ঘটতে পারে আপনাদের সাথে... Overall.....,🙏

Staff behaviour very bad, not recommended any travelers.

Not so luxury but standard living homestay. Food was good and the homestay offered very affordable package including stay with 4 time food. The kanchanjangha view from balcony was really amazing .

Worst Experience ever! Had to cut short the visit span due to rude behaviour. They don’t care about your comfort. Unclean room, Dirty bed, smelly blankets. Food is terrible, soaked in oil. All get ill after having the spoiled chicken curry. Never visit here.

Extremely disappointing experience – Avoid Rajalim Homestay ​I am writing this to warn others about my recent experience at Rajalim Homestay, which was easily the worst stay I have ever had. The level of service and hospitality was non-existent. ​Upon arrival, we were told there was no room for us and were shifted to another location without any prior notice. The food quality was poor, and basic amenities like napkins were refused, with the staff dismissively telling us to buy our own from their shop. ​The most concerning part was the complete lack of humanity shown by the owner. When a member of our group was injured after falling from a faulty chair during lunch, there was no concern for their well-being. Instead of offering help or ice, the owner immediately demanded payment for the broken chair. Their behavior was rude, insensitive, and completely unacceptable. I strongly advise potential guests to look elsewhere; this establishment does not prioritize the safety or comfort of its visitors.

Dangerous and Unprofessional – Stay Away I regret to say that my stay at Rajalim Homestay was a deeply upsetting experience. The service was pathetic from start to finish. 1. Lack of Organization: We were moved to a different property without notice because they "ran out of rooms." 2. Poor Standards: The food was tasteless, and they refused to provide simple napkins, suggesting we pay for them at their shop instead. 3. Inhumanity: When a friend fell due to a broken chair at their establishment, the owner’s only concern was money. They didn’t offer first aid or check on our friend, but instead aggressively demanded payment for the furniture.

What a rubbing experience I must say! Just left the most third class homestay I have ever visited in my life that is Rajalim Homestay. 1. There was no sufficient room for us that's why they moved us to another homestay without any prior intimation and just said "room nhi hain, adjust karna padega". 2. Food was below average quality and and we asked for a napkin or tissue but they just casually said "napkin nhi hain. Dukan mein hain humara". Means they wanted to pay seperately for napkin which they should have been provided. In the name of evening snacks they gave us tasteless alu pakora. 3. Lastly Service was pathetic. Neven seen this type of rude and inhuman behaviour specially from a homestay owner. One of our friends got injured because he fell from a chair while having lunch at their place and when we asked for some ice, they simple did not bother and surprisingly said "chair tut gaya hain? To Paisa Dena padega hum kuch nahi jante". Like they did not even bother to come or check if he is okay or not and simply asked to paid for the broken chair as if it got broken by us!!! So, the owner of this kind of homestay if you really check these reviews from the customer, I really don't know you are running how your business with this service. Please improve your service otherwise you will loose your business soon.

We booked our stay at Rajalim Homestay, but upon arrival, the management forced us to stay in a completely different homestay. To make matters worse, they commanded us to walk to the main hotel every single time we wanted food—including breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. This ruined the convenience of our vacation. Forcing guests to change locations and commute for every single meal is completely unacceptable. Save your money and book elsewhere.Overall, my experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The owner, especially the lady owner, behaved very badly with guests. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The homestay's owner and their food quality are very poor..! The owner changed our room to another homestay even though we had booked it, & her behaviour with customer isn't appropriate!! Overall Ramdhura is good place with mind-blowing view..but you have to choose the right homestay..

Not too good. I have never experienced a inferior Homestay like that. Location is truly nice, but their food quality is very poor. The service is not presentable. There have no lock and key in doors. If you think to explore or have a walk nearby you have to inform the service boy for observation. It is in under construction. And there you have to face Mosquito breeding, and many other insects in room . I request to the owner to please look into the problems.

We 4 friends stays at this homestay on 13 April 2026. Staff behaviour was bad. Food was very pathetic food smell was so bad all time we survived whole day on packet food. Don't go there if you want to enjoy your holidays.

Very bad experience..it’s under construction and they are taking bookings ..ppl will face a lot of inconveniences ..owner is rude ..our stay was very uncomfortable as there was no current for 5 hours ..no geyser facility was available from evening 6 to morning 6…

Best homestay at kalingpong

It is under construction now but still awesome. I like the home stay. I would be here again. The view of kanchenjugha was awsomebwhen the dawn emerged and the rising clounds from below creates a heavenly environment. There was two parts of this home stay one modern looking with 4 rooms ready and 2 in the old cottege way. I myself loved the traditional cottege more as that matches the correct vibe here.

Excellent homestay.... location and view from balcony is fantastic like haven..... homestay's owner and her family members behaviour is absolutely fantastic just like wow....i am very lucky to stay at her property...
