Fantastic homestay in a calm n cool place, rooms were so nice n spacious n well decorated, Scenic beauty was amazing, we've seen Kanchenjunga too, They did room service timely, Foods were very tasty by chef Sajan Ji n his assistant Mingma Bhai do it timely too, every time he knocked me before meals, both are very nice in behaviour n helpful, Sonam Bhai with the car was a excellent person, so kind n humble, he showed us every places very well, more when he knew that I've interest on animals he tried his best to show me peacock deer too, The price was reasonable too, The road near homestay little bit troublesome otherwise it's a pure bliss Thanks so much Debanjan Da the in charge, Best wishes to all of you Take care

Tucked away in the quiet embrace of Lamahatta, this hidden gem is a perfect retreat for anyone seeking calm and refreshness. The peaceful wooden interiors offer a warm, home-like feel, with windows that frame the breathtaking snow-clad mountain ranges. Mornings here are a symphony — the melodic calls of birds form a gentle alarm clock, while deer occasionally appear in the misty distance. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the food — every meal feels like it’s been cooked with love. The cook is a delightful soul, always ready with a smile and eager to serve up local delicacies that are both heartwarming and flavorful. The owner, Debanjan Uncle, too is incredibly hospitable, treating guests more like family than visitors. With Darjeeling, Gopaldhara, Mirik and several charming spots just a short drive away, this sanctuary is ideal for a peaceful stay surrounded by nature’s quiet theatre, great food, and even better company.

Nice palace for holiday

We visited Lamahatta in December, 2024 and had an wonderful stay there. The rooms were cozy, service was great and food was delicious. Pick up and drop off facilities as well as trasportation for local sightseeing are available for a reasonable price. Overall, we had a lovely stay at the Himalayan Cloud's Homestay.

The place has an amazing view, is quiete and a perfect place for a peaceful holiday. Food was good as well. The property looks very basic from outside but the rooms have all amenities that a luxury hotel would have. The uninterrupted view of Kanchenjunga is available from almost everywhere in the property. The behaviour of the staff is an icing on the cake.
