Ocean Homestay

The premises are in an appalling state of neglect, characterised by pervasive dampness, accumulated filth, and a severe lack of hygiene. The environment is rife with insects, rendering the property both unsanitary and wholly unsuitable for comfortable habitation. the local manager is exceptionally unprofessional and exceedingly difficult to deal with. Their discourteous attitude, lack of accountability, and unwillingness to address legitimate concerns make the overall experience unnecessarily frustrating. Taken together, the condition of the property, the challenging access, and the poor management reflect a standard that falls far below what one would reasonably expect.

I have went to this property with my wife sister my mother and grandfather. Please be careful that while booking they will mislead you by saying that they won’t charge anything extra for food as it was included with the stay but once u reach the property they start asking you money extra for food and even water and Specially the property manager mr. Atanu is so rowdy and misbehaved with the ladies we were almost about to call police because we are scared about his and his staff behaviour. we are forced to leave the property immediately by morning . The rooms are so dirty with insects all over no washroom water no power nothing . Please make sure not to come to this property specially for Mr.Atanu. It’s not safe because mainly of him and his local syndicate

Worst homestay ever, when we first booked through call they said that the 3 times food included. But we didnt wanted lunch so they gave us 100 discount and I went with my family with my grandfather and 2 pets. They charged 500rs per pet thats all fine. But when we reached there after all the obstacles on the mud road and the distance on the hill roads, they were saying that there isnt food included and also the guys there have misbehaved with my mom and was talking very rudely. There was no water in the bathroom, and floor was so dirty and damp. It was disgusting experience. The guy name was Atanu he was the one who misbehaved with us. We were almost gonna call police but couldnt so we checked out immediately. Go if you want waste your money

Stayed here on 26th May 2026. Location is good. Rooms are very good, specially the duplex cottage but the maintenance and cleanliness of the room is not up to the mark. Foods are average but the furnishing is good. The most irritative thing is the nuisance of local syndicate car. If you tell the local hotel manager to arrange car for pick up drop and sightseeing then it's ok, otherwise problem occurs. You may come for one night stay, otherwise not recommended.

The worst behaviour from the local manager. His behavioural is so arrogant and he has the bad attitude. people are coming and paying to stay but such a bad attitude making things bad. Adreesing to the lease owner of the property please look in to this or your reputation goes down in near days.
