Goldeulex Homestay in Mirik is one of the worst places I have ever stayed. The food was awful – cold, tasteless, and looked unhygienic. The rooms were in a miserable state, dirty, smelly, and with broken facilities. It felt like no effort was made to keep the place clean or comfortable for guests. Electricity was a nightmare, constantly going off, and there was no reliable backup. Even something as basic as clean mineral water was not provided. This shows how careless and irresponsible the management is. Overall, this homestay completely ruined my travel experience. It is overpriced, badly managed, and not worth even a single night’s stay. I would never recommend this place to anyone – if you value your money and peace of mind, stay far away from Goldeulex Homestay.

The worst homestay I have visited in my life. The management is extremely poor. The hosts are not courteous enough. They are very reluctant on addressing the guest's concerns and complaints. Most importantly, they are only concerned with the money. I booked this stay for 3 days. There was no electricity and water for the first 6 to 7 hours. The food served was not upto the mark. The hygiene situation was worse. The staffs use the same guest's room. There is a staff crunch and a single boy does cleaning and cooking both. I checked out after a day but I was charged the entire amount. The hosts did not address any of our concern till the last moment. It was a pathetic experience. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!
