I recently visited the hotel and to be very honest that was the best decision bcoz the view from the hotel was crazy and food was fresh and tasty my siblings loved the food and the behaviour of the staffs the hospitality was top notch me and my family enjoyed the trip very much and thanks to the owner for guiding us for a better trip!❤️

Had a great stay and sleep here would recommend to anyone

Not recommended at all Worst resturant and hotel you can find at Lava. Don't let them fool you with their words 'বাঙালি ভাতের হোটেল'

Disappointed with Room Service – Needs Major Improvement I had high expectations for this homestay based on the photos and reviews, but the room service experience was unfortunately very disappointing.. Even basic requests like extra towels or hot water were met with delays or ignored entirely. Cleanliness was another serious concern. The utensils provided were visibly dirty, and we noticed insects in the corners of the room. The washroom lacked even the most basic essentials—no hand wash, no floor mat, and not even toilet paper provided until we specifically asked. Service felt inconsistent throughout the stay. Hot water was only available during limited hours, which we were not informed about in advance. On top of that, there seemed to be a clear communication gap between the owner and the staff—no one seemed to know what had been promised or what to do when issues were raised. Overall, the lack of hygiene, slow response times, and poor coordination made for a frustrating experience. I'm not recommended anyone 😡

Homestay often revolves around issues with cleanliness, inadequate facilities and problematic staff behavior. Specific complaints include dirty rooms but only thing is good as per my experience is food

Exceptional hospitality and a truly home-away-from-home experience! Our hosts were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. The room was cozy, clean, and perfectly equipped. Delicious homemade meals and great conversation made our stay even more special. Highly recommend! 5/5 stars. The breathtaking view of Kanchanjangha was absolutely mesmerizing! The majestic mountain peaks stretched towards the sky, their snow-capped grandeur glistening in the sunlight. The sight left us spellbound and awestruck, a truly unforgettable experience!

You'll rarely find a homestay as wonderful as this one in Lava. And the view? Oh my goodness, it's incredibly beautiful! It's very close to the Lava Monastery. What's more, everyone from the homestay's caretaker to the cook is extremely nice. Their behavior is exceptional." ❤️❤️❤️
