Food was good , the rooms where clean and very affordable

Had a great stay. The hosts are very welcoming and gave warm hospitality throughout. Had home-cooked food at their cosy restaurant right by their kitchen. Lava Monastery and Nathu La viewpoints are right next to it. The owner did overcharge. You should check prices of the nearby stays and definitely negotiate.

If you are looking for peace and quiet, this homestay is perfect. The rooms are clean, the food is delicious, and the views are amazing. It’s located very close to the Neora Valley National Park entrance. You can easily walk to Lava Monastery and the local market, but you'll need a cab for Changey Falls. Above all, the owner, Arup Pal da, is an extraordinary person—incredibly helpful and full of local knowledge about North Bengal. Will definitely stay here again!

Had an absolutely awesome experience at this homestay in Lava! Our guide dada was simply amazing — super friendly, caring, helpful, and guided us throughout the entire trip like family. Not just him, his wife and every family member were incredibly warm, affectionate, and welcoming. The pahari rituals during our farewell made the experience even more special and memorable. The food was delicious, the Innova was very comfortable, and the overall hospitality was beyond expectations. Truly felt like home away from home. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lava
