This beautiful lodge,|Located at 1868 metres altitude, is a picture perfect getaway - for birders, nature lovers and all those who are looking for some peace and quiet, fresh air and calm. Located in Kolakham village, Neora Valley Jungle camp is approximately 4 hours drive from Bagdogra international Airport. Started my Mr. Sukhendu Paul, this labour of love, is now also managed by his daughter, Ahana and the team (Prem, Tshering and others).|What we loved about this place was natural setting, quiet and non interfering presence of the team, and the excellent food. Ahana and Prem were really thoughtful about the allergies, dietary restrictions - and Prem prepared delicious meals - with local Ingredients. If you love birding - then this is heaven for you. The whole ecosystem will come together to enable birding. The location near the edge of Neora valley forest - also makes this a centre to visit the various other local attractions - such as Changey falls, lava monastery, among others. A must visit, beautiful - home away from home.

It is for people who want to serenade with nature, listen to the chirp of birds, sit still watching the majestic Kanchenjunga and experience the intense beauty of nature, sunsets, star studded sky and equally beautiful glimmering valley below...

Definitely the best stay at Kolakham, amidst Neora Valley Jungle. Rooms are cozy. The Attics are the best ones. One can find absolute peace and serenity staying over here. The hosts as well as the staffs are very caring and co-operative. A heaven for the bird-watchers. This place offers the best view of the Sleeping Buddha from Kolakham. Good foods adds to the charm. Sufficient space for parking vehicles.

1. If one wants to enjoy the peace, serenity without sacrificing their comfort away from the hoi polloi of the hustling city life then this is the place for you. 2. Amazing location, quaint and sublime quietitude. 3. Delicious food. 4. Great staff who treat guests like family members. Prem and Shering are wonderful with their onsite management. 5. Ms. Ahana as an ever smiling supervisor and a friend is commendable.

Stayed at NVJC from 18th to 22nd June 2025 with my family. It is a beautiful, serene place. We were well taken care of, food was tasty and bhery guud. Continental and Indian. Electricity supply was problematic during rains, though battery operated lights and generator was available. Overall we had a memorable experience. Wish to revisit the resort during winters, when tge jungle safari is on.
