Don't came to this homestay. Service of this homestay too much bad. If you no option to other homestay then don't food order from their. Because their food is not like to eating.

We had a booking under the name of Himadri Sekhar Bhattacharya. We reached there on the 3rd of June, 2026 at around 8:00 pm. We were a little late as we drove directly from Lachung, Sikkim to Lava. When we reached there we first saw that the homestay was in a very narrow uphill street and as we had a 7 seater car, it was not ideal. (They didn't inform us about this as well) The main bad experience came from the manager himself. He started misbehaving with us. He told us that we will get no chai or hot water at that time. After several requests he gave us chai but said that he will only give hot water in the morning from 7 am to 9 am. We were not informed of such a rule beforehand, so we took the decision of not staying there and started to again reverse our car through that narrow street in that darkness with clouds and fog all around along with rain (no visibility) (No visibility in the road towards Lava was also why we were late). The manager at that moment came and started to threaten us to make the full payment. When we denied it and said that his behaviour was very bad he started advancing towards me with the intent of giving me a beating. When he came close to me, I smelled his breadth and it was full of Alcohol. I didn't want to get into a fight with him and backed off. We left that place and found a nice hotel/ homestay within 100 metres of that place which gave us a nice room with hot water and good food. If you ask for evidence our car dash cam has recorded the voice of the manager and his behaviour as well which is now being forwarded to the relevant authorities. Thank you I will never forget this worst stay which lasted for less that 15 minutes.

Had a wonderful stay at Lava Hill Heaven Homestay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with beautiful views of the surrounding hills. The hosts were warm, friendly, and very helpful throughout our stay. The food was delicious and felt just like home. The peaceful atmosphere made our trip to Lava even more memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing stay in the lap of nature.

This homestay is with all the facilities of hotels. This is behind the kagyu monastery. This homestay is 20 metres away from the main road inside a lane. Parking for bikes is available and small vehicle can reach there.

The rooms are well-maintained, staffs are very well-mannered. Food is also very comforting and homely. The location and view from the rooms is also mesmerizing. Overall a very comfortable stay with warm hospitality from the owner as well as staffs made our journey to this place a memorable one. Hope to come back again. Cheers.
