Great Homestay. The hospitality, food, ambience, view everything was top notch. A truly 5 star experience. Must recommend. Special thanks to Abhisek for the quick responses, uncle and aunty for their warm behaviour and Jaggu da for his extreme hospitality.

Ideally located. On main road. Easily accessible. Famous food chains, the main market, bus stand, all are within walking distance. The view of the mountain from the window of the guest room as well as from the balcony is just awesome. And, the most important thing is, we can enjoy this scenic view while staying in the heart of the town. Thanks to the owner of this homestay for all these, who are very much polite, well behaved and helpful too.

This homestay or you can call it a 2 BHK flat offers rooms of around 250 sq. ft., each with an attached bathroom. The location is excellent—near Kalingpong Damber Chowk—where all shared and rental vehicles pass by, making it very easy to reach the homestay with luggage. There are two front-facing rooms with beautiful mountain views, where you can relax and enjoy a clear view of Kanchenjunga. The homestay owner is very helpful, and Jagat Ji, who takes care of the guests, is polite and welcoming. Food is available at the homestay, and there are also many options in the nearby market. Cleanliness and service deserve a full 5-star rating for this homestay.

The stay was amazing. Such homely place. The hosts uncle and aunty are really warm and welcoming people. The rooms have great view. Amazingly clean and well kept place. Very spacious. Common balcony with ample place to sit. Location is on the main road opposite to KFC.

Recently we have stayed at Namsewal homestay at Kalimpong(9th Mile). Location is prime and the hospitality of the homestay is top notch! Rakesh uncle(owner) very cooperative and humble person... rooms are very clean and tidy. Above all, we felt like home....2 rooms has Kanchenjunga view ....they have two pets named Sunny and Snoopy...they are very friendly and cute☺️ food is the usp here....😋 Super tasty and good quality!

Excellent Stay at Namsewal Homestay I had a wonderful three-day stay at Namsewal Homestay in Kalimpong. The experience exceeded my expectations in every way. The rooms were spacious, neat, and well-maintained, offering a breathtaking panoramic view from the balcony—a perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature. The location is ideal, right on the main road, making transportation easily accessible for exploring the town and nearby attractions. The service was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. What impressed me the most was the great value for money—excellent accommodation and services at a reasonable price. I highly recommend Namsewal Homestay to anyone visiting Kalimpong. The property is Neat and clean, great view of Kanchanjunga peaks. Owner of the property is very nice and helpful. A small common kitchen is attached with all basic requirements like fridge, induction cooker, electric kettle, cup n plate .. etc.

Perfect Homestay

This is a nice Homestay with good location and very thoughtfully designed. They had 2 dogs which seem barking in the beginning but very fond after getting closer. The Caretaker brother was cheerful, innocent and helpful, very nice person. My experience: I called the Owner Uncle to check the room Availability. He Quoted the price. I said, since I was a single person just for one Night. I requested for Discount. He said okay. We had agreed with Complementary Breakfast during the arrival. But in the next Morning when I asked him regarding the Breakfast Timing, I was surprised to hear that the same owner saying that the Breakfast is not Included. Suggestion: If you make any changes in the plan, clarify & verify each facility you get from this homestay before arriving. To meet your expectations and reality.
