The staff were rude and completely unhelpful throughout our stay. Basic requests were either ignored or met with a dismissive attitude — not what you expect from a homestay that claims to offer warm hospitality. The food quality was equally disappointing. Meals were served cold, poorly cooked, and lacked any flavor. For a homestay where food is a core part of the experience, this was simply unacceptable. Save your money and look elsewhere.

⭐☆☆☆☆ "A Total Disaster!" I honestly don’t even know where to begin with this place. Golden Sojorun Homestay is an absolute nightmare. First of all, the service is beyond horrible—staff barely acknowledges you, maximum time no body is available and when they do, it’s like you’re interrupting their nap. No one seems to care about anything at all, and they act like you’re asking for the moon just to get a towel. As for the rooms? Don’t even get me started. They were dirty, uncomfortable, and looked NOTHING like the pictures. The bed was so lumpy, I thought I was sleeping on a pile of bricks. The bathroom? A horror show. There was mold, a shower that didn’t work properly, and the towels were like sandpaper. And the food? Absolutely basic—it is worst like something you'd find at a cheap roadside stall. Tasteless, bland, and honestly, If you ask for anything even noodles they say not available The only good thing about this place is the location,you can see a good view but that’s literally the only positive. If you want to stay at a place that makes you regret every decision, go ahead and book. But for the sake of your sanity, DO NOT stay here if you have any self-respect. I wouldn’t recommend this to my worst enemy. Save your money and book literally anywhere else.

Though location is good, but horrible maintenance and hospitality. Have rarely seen such dirty rooms in any homestay. Bathroom are filled with insects and spiders. No provision of mineral water. Staffs are extremely rude, hot water is available for half an hour in the morning on repeated request only. Food is below average and overpriced. Owner is not interested is hospitality. The worst place to stay in Rishop. NEVER VISIT THIS PLACE WITH FAMILY.

Nice view

Love this place. The view from the rooms are just out of the world. And the staffs are also well behaved. But try to avoid coming in peak rainy season. You will have to encounter insects.
