I went there before 2020, had great feelings. Stayed for couple of time. Very nice family, ambience and hospitality.

Anyone want to visit Rongtong or Shivkhola can stay here.

The host is very cordial, location is beautiful, truly inside a tea-garden, peaceful and serene. Excellent place for bird-watching, food is yummy and cooked homestyle.

Yamfu homestay feels so much like home. Mr Rai and his family are so warm, thoughtful, and kind. The food here is super delicious. The best part, they provide the full package, from pick-up and drop to NJP and also know the best birding guide (Bikram)! This is my fourth or fifth stay here and I strongly recommend Yamfu homestay to everyone coming yo Rongtong.

Had an absolutely incredible experience at Yumfu Homestay. The moment I stepped in, I was struck by the warm hospitality and the tranquil ambiance. The homes were clean and well maintained. But what truly stole the show was the breathtaking view of the mountains and the little hamlet. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay.

Everything is wonderful at Yamfu Homestay! My second time here. If you are visiting Rongtong look nowhere else. The warmth and hospitality of the wonderful Ladies who run the place, will make you want to come back again and again! The food is simple and absolutely delicious with local ingredients and preparations. Being a vegetarian, it was an absolute treat to me! Our stay at this homestay was an absolute delight! From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such genuine warmth and hospitality by the family that runs the place, it truly felt like we were visiting relatives rather than just guests. The food was a major highlight – all the meals were prepared with local, organic vegetables and were incredibly well-made and delicious. We especially appreciated the fresh, home-cooked flavors. What's more, we learned they also do honey farming, and you can truly taste the care and quality in everything they offer! The view from our balcony was simply breathtaking. My wife and I spent entire evening just sitting out there, enjoying snacks and soaking in the awesome scenery. It's such a quiet and peaceful location, perfect for unwinding and enjoying nature. Furthermore, the rooms were impeccably clean and very well maintained, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay. Anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with fantastic food (including their own delicious honey!), an authentic, familial atmosphere, and a chance to experience local farming, look no further.
