Whispering Hills Homestay, Kaffergaon

Our experience was ok, host is awesome, she gave us tasty home-cooked food, very warm homely behaviour. The location is near Lolegaon park, with a truly beautiful view. Bedding, pillows and blankets are clean, but room's wall and bathroom bit moldy not so comfortable, Also the road condition to reach the homestay is horrible in rainy season.

I had an absolutely amazing stay at this homestay near lolaygaon. The views are simply breathtaking—from October to December, you can see the entire Kanchenjunga range right from the front of the property. The hosts were incredibly warm, and the food was outstanding—every meal was included and so delicious. I highly recommend this place for a peaceful escape with stunning mountain views. Whispering Hills, Kafergaon was an experience I’ll never forget. This is what “true offbeat” really means — a remote mountain village where silence speaks, and nature takes center stage. It’s a paradise for birds. All day long you’re surrounded by birdsong, whistles, and chirping, with clouds drifting past and the vast, unbroken view of Kanchenjunga right in front of you. Mousumi Ma’am, who runs the homestay, made it even more special with her warm hospitality and home-cooked meals that added a whole new flavor to the trip. I’m completely in awe. If you love solitude and raw nature, and don’t mind skipping a couple of days of city luxury, you have to visit. 100% recommended.

During our recent trip, Mousumi Di and Dada took such wonderful care of us that we never felt we were away from home. Their warmth, affection, and hospitality made us feel completely comfortable. Surrounded by beautiful nature and breathtaking views of the majestic Kanchenjunga, their lovely home offers a truly peaceful and memorable experience. The way they have blended comfort with the beauty of the natural surroundings fills every visitor's heart with joy. It was truly a home away from home.

Had a lovely stay at Whispering Hills Homestay. The place has a very warm and homely feeling, and the peaceful views all around make it the perfect spot to relax. The food was fresh, tasty, and felt just like a home-cooked meal(Loved their chicken bhuna). The hospitality was wonderful, they treated us like a family and overall it was a comfortable and memorable experience. Would definitely love to visit again!
