The Silver Spring

Amazing location, the view is awesome. The food, especially dinner and breakfast, was really delicious — it felt just like homemade food. The service was good and everything was available at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Very good experience

One the best homestay near by main town of Darjeeling. Main darjeeling is very crowded. So we decided to stay in this homestay. Room are clean.well maintained. Friendly owner.

The rooms were unimpressive. The service was unremarkable, nothing special to note. The location is truly terrible 😠. The streets are incredibly steep, and the staircase in the building is just as bad 🚶‍♀️. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues or senior citizens 👎.

A perfect place to stay with family. The rooms were very neat and clean . The food served was very nice . The staff was very cooperative.

Quite a quaint and peaceful homestay. The hosts - Ravi and Neema - they were very helpful & always ready to assist in any way possible. The rooms were also very well maintained during my stay with friends, and the view of Darjeeling town is also great from the terrace. It's a bit away from the main market roads, but not a long walk from the center either. It was a good experience for me & my friends overall.

It was my wonderful experience at the silver spring. Even the location is bit far from the main street but i will stay at the same place if i come back again. All the staffs are excelent and very helpful. But one thing. Maintanance needs bit more improvement

Very nice location for panaromic mountain view and see the view of Darjeeling , if weather is favourable then can see the Kanchenjunga mountain view clearly (during my visit, early March, all are cloudly and not able to see)Room conditions and amenities are very good. Homely and friendly, foods are very good and tasty.

Best Location for Clear view of Kanchunjunga, Very much good services and hospitality. Peaople are very sweet and kind, I really loved this Homestay. Its been 3 times a year i have visited with my family here. I prefer everyone if you want to go for a tour, this place is best.

One the best hotels I have ever stayed while travelling, which felt like Home away from home. A nice cosy place with all the basic amenities, neat and clean. This place is located in a very serene environment, far from the crowd and you can enjoy the grand view of Kanchenjunga from the room itself and also from the dining area. You will get a clear view of the whole city of Darjeeling from the terrace of this hotel. The hustling sound of toy train makes you feel elated with the nostalgia we hold for Darjeeling, you can feel here while sitting at your room while sipping Darjeeling tea. The food they serve is top notch starting from chinese to our everyday thali, quality wise and quantity wise food is perfect. And one thing I would definitely add, I have been to different places across the country and I have many experiences regarding hotels and home stays. But Silver Spring is a totally different experience altogether and precisely for the hospitality and humbleness of Thochen Da, such a meticulous and professional personal he is. People who are still not very comfortable with online bookings you can rely on this person. Would love to stay here again and would recommend everybody, also to them who are going to read this review. Enjoy your stay here at Darjeeling.
