Our stay at the Tabakoshi Riverside Dwelling Homestay in mid-June 2026 provided a deeply peaceful and rejuvenating experience. Nestled directly in the lap of nature, the property boasts an excellent location paired with breathtaking riverside views. It offers an ideal sanctuary for those seeking absolute serenity and a profound connection with pristine natural surroundings. During our visit, we occupied the property's stone cottage, which features a wonderful aesthetic and a uniquely charming design. The hospitality throughout our stay was exemplary. The host was exceptionally wonderful and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere that greatly enhanced our experience. Additionally, the property served good, comforting food that added immensely to the warmth of our overall experience While the property itself is inherently magnificent, the sole area requiring attention is its upkeep, as it currently lacks the level of regular maintenance such a lovely estate deserves. With a renewed focus on property preservation and routine care, this establishment could easily elevate its standing to an unmatched premier nature retreat. Despite this single operational flaw, the combination of spectacular views and outstanding hospitality made our stay highly memorable, and it remains thoroughly recommended for discerning nature enthusiasts.

Our experience at Riverside Dwelling Resort, Tabakoshi was one of the most disappointing stays we have ever had. While the resort looks beautiful in photographs, the reality is quite different. It is located in an extremely remote area, and the road leading to the property is in very poor condition. In the event of any medical or other emergency, getting out of the resort quickly would be a serious challenge. Although the rooms are visually appealing, they were not properly maintained. We found numerous insects crawling on and around the bed, which made the room uncomfortable and unacceptable for a resort stay. The biggest issue, however, was the complete lack of hospitality. The owner showed no interest in the guests' comfort or satisfaction. Meals were simply served and no one bothered to check if we needed anything, whether the food was satisfactory, or if we were comfortable. We never felt welcomed or cared for. To make matters worse, the rooms had no fan. Considering the hot and extremely humid weather, staying inside the room became unbearable. We were constantly sweating and requested a fan or any possible solution, but nothing was provided. Instead of trying to help, the owner's response was, "If it's too hot and you can't stay, then you should leave." Such a dismissive attitude towards paying guests is completely unacceptable. Because of the unbearable conditions and the owner's unwillingness to address even the most basic concerns, we were forced to check out early and find accommodation elsewhere. A beautiful location and attractive rooms cannot compensate for poor maintenance, lack of basic amenities, and zero hospitality. Unfortunately, this resort failed in all the areas that truly matter for a comfortable stay. I would not recommend Riverside Dwelling Resort to anyone unless significant improvements are made in guest service, cleanliness, and basic facilities.

Very unresponsive owner. Not acceptable in the tourism space where people skills are a must.

Very very nice experience.. the quality of the cottages, hospitality, the gushing streams across the property, the river bath tub, the lawns n gardens, all will mesmerise you with it’s own rustic charm.. the owner n staffs are all very welcoming.

This homestay is very very beautiful... Location is superb... Tea garden in front of homestay and in backside there is a river...
