I recently stayed at this homestay and had a wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed by the warm hospitality and friendly atmosphere. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The surroundings were peaceful and relaxing, making it a perfect place to unwind and enjoy some quality time away from the busy city life. The food was another highlight of my stay. Everything was fresh, delicious, and had a lovely homemade touch. It was clear that a lot of care goes into both the accommodation and the guest experience. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable getaway. I would definitely love to visit again.

An absolutely enchanting farm stay experience! The serene surroundings, fresh air, warm hospitality and authentic countryside charm made every moment memorable. It was the perfect blend of comfort and nature. Some places are beautiful to visit once, but this is the kind of place that keeps calling you back. I cannot wait to return and relive the peace, joy, and simplicity that made this stay so special.

I'm not sure why these PPL are saying that they had a wonderful exp in this homestay. My personal experience is more than bad.It does not feel like a hotel/homestay..it's feel like a hostel or mess with very limited options.

One of my worst experience in The Silver Tip and I will never recommend anyone to stay there. Location, service, fooding everything was worst..

Worst homestay ever. Hygiene is a crime to them. The washroom had used soaps and toothbrushes of other people, the commode shower/jet spray leaked water and had to be hanged on the tap, didn’t even a holder. The window nets were falling apart. The mattress had plastic cover and over that the bedsheet spread. The small wooden cabinet had stickers peeled on it. Absolute discomfort. Floor had hairs and dead insects. Bed uncomfortable with plastic noise. Dirty and unhygienic. Absolutely disaster. Not at all recommended. Its not worth the money or the 4km downhill climb.

Silver Tip Homestay, Kalimpong (Booked through Fusion Stay) We booked Silver Tip Homestay, Kalimpong through the Fusion Stay platform after having two beautiful and memorable homestay experiences in Tinchuley and Darjeeling with them. However, sadly, this time our experience turned out to be extremely disappointing and stressful. I am genuinely surprised how such a property is listed on the Fusion Stay platform. In our opinion, Silver Tip Homestay felt nothing less than a scam, with extremely small and suffocating rooms, poor hygiene, and lack of even basic amenities. The owner of the homestay does not stay on the property. The entire place is managed by a single overburdened caretaker who acts as the cook, housekeeper, cleaner, and sweeper all at once. Due to this, the property seemed poorly maintained and not in a livable condition. Some of the major concerns we faced were: Unhygienic and poorly maintained rooms No proper packed drinking water or RO water facility No attached/common private washroom; bathrooms had to be shared with other guests as well as the caretaker Unclean bedsheets, pillow covers, and blankets, some of which had fungal stains/fungus Food quality and arrangements were far below what was promised during booking Lack of basic hospitality and guest comfort What was even more disappointing was the behavior we experienced when we raised concerns regarding proper drinking water. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, the owner behaved unethically, which added to our discomfort and harassment during the stay. We trusted Fusion Stay because of our previous wonderful experiences, which makes this incident even more disappointing. We hope this review helps future travelers make an informed decision and request Fusion Stay to verify and maintain quality standards before listing such properties. Sadly, this was one of our worst homestay experiences. This version sounds strong, credible, and professional—so people take it seriously rather than dismiss it as an emotional complaint.

We just had a lunch at The Silver Tip last week. The homestay was kind enough to host us even though we did not stay there. The food was totally fresh, in fact we saw the vegetables being plucked from their own kitchen garden. The dishes were all well prepared. The views are breathtaking. We walked around the homestay and found the rooms very well equipped and clean. The linen was bright and spotless. However, it was the great warmth and hospitality of the hosts which was the icing on the cake.

The resort has a great location with a beautiful view, which is definitely the highlight of the stay. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the overall environment was peaceful. The staff behavior was also good — they were polite and well-mannered. However, the service was not very satisfying as it was slow and not properly managed. The food was okay, but the complimentary breakfast was disappointing, especially in terms of quantity. They provide a very small portion, even for adults, and it definitely needs improvement. Another issue was that they don’t have any arrangement for evening snacks, which is inconvenient for guests. Also, the extra items we ordered were charged at a very high price, which felt unreasonable. Overall, the resort is good for the view and clean rooms, but they need to improve their service, breakfast quality/quantity, and pricing. They need to improve their professional aspect as they want to comfort their guest.

It's really home filling stay at lap of hill at Beautiful Sanj Gaon in Kalimpong..oraginc food with Birdsong extremely mind-blowing refresh your self every moments..

Had a wonderful stay at The Silver tip Farmstay.The location was beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by nature and perfect for a relaxing trip. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The food was really delicious, with a good variety of options. We also enjoyed exploring the nearby places and spending time in the scenic surroundings. I have highly recommended for this Home stay

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel from 15th February 2026 to 16th February 2026. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The entire hotel staff made me feel like home — just like family. Their hospitality was truly heartwarming. A special thanks to Ms. Asima Ghorai for her excellent behavior and kind nature. She was very polite, helpful, and supportive throughout my stay. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely love to visit again. Highly recommended! 😊
