We stayed at River Valley Homestay during our trip to Tabakoshi and had a wonderful experience. The location is beautiful, with stunning views from the property that make the stay even more memorable. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff members were humble, polite, and always ready to help. The homestay is situated in a very convenient and scenic location, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. The food was good and well-prepared. Overall, we had a great stay and would highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Tabakoshi.

How I wish there was a negetive star review for this! Beautiful property, nestled cosily amongst the hills..you think you're walking into paradise and then you meet the staff! Arrogant, unwilling to maintain Basic amenities, scowling back if you ask them to clean the dirty room you just walked into. The food quantity is so little that it barely serves 3 when you order food for 6, completely charred burnt chicken given in the name of Barbeque. When you refuse to eat the burnt chicken but offer to pay nevertheless the owner walks in drunk into your room and threatens to throw you out on the deserted dark streets in the middle of the night. We were travelling with our 60+ parents btw. Completely unsafe, horrifying experience, The property is beautiful but there are no access roads,you have to go down the stairs via car, the owner doesnt deserve to be a host in any sense. Only building a pretty property will only get them so far.

I had a terrible stay at River Valley Homestay Tabakoshi. The space was cramped and uncomfortable. It looked unmaintained, and the staff was untrained. I do not recommend this homestay for anyone looking for a good trip with friends or family. And the most important thing 'it is haunted'. Experieced paranormal activities whole night. Very disappointing!

Bestest ever Stay we Stayed in the Hills ...The owner was very good n gentle... Tabakoshi is About 1 hr journey from Mirik... Completely Calm n cool place... It's like a valley sourounded by hills ...

Don't Go there . Worst Homestay in Darjeeling Area. They Stopped Electricity at 9pm Every night. Deliberately Reduce Tap Speed. Service is slow.
