Had a terrible experience. Food quality was very poor and also excessively charged. Room cleanliness was below par. There was no wifi even though Booking.com amenities promised free wifi. Pet charges were added even though it was explicitly mentioned property was pet friendly and pet accompaniment would be free of cost. Snacks were verbally claimed to be complementary yet added in the final bill which shows the deceitful nature of the owner. Totally recommend against booking this property. There are plenty of better home stays in Rishop

False advertising. No wifi in the hotel . Also it says pet friendly with no extra charges. But they charged 500 rs extra. And no arrangement could be made from their side for my pet dog's food. The hotel premise is dirty. The blankets had stain. Food quality is very average. Very disappointing.

I am so happy to stay on this place. There rooms and service is to much good . Thier manager and his management is awesome. I am so impressed for this place because the kanchanjangha is very beautiful from there.

A Hidden Gem in West Bengal.Go by walking from the Main Road To the Rishap/Rishop Village.the Trek is stunning offerings pine tree and wild orchid tree view....the air is totally in its Pure form. When U get up you can try momos, thupka soup and fried rice at a small cafe and home stay called rishop mountain homestay.They are kind people...

The location of this homestay is simply amazing. You can see almost 360 view of the Himalayan mountains from the balcony of the hotel. From the outside, the homestay is quite neat. But most of the time there is no electricity in this homestay, they do not have their own generator. The washroom is also not clean enough. There is a bad smell from the washroom. There are some matted leaves inside the room which is very unclean. And during this time there is a lot of insect infestation, when you turn on the light in the room, a lot of insects enter your room. 4th June 2025 After giving a review, I received a voice message on WhatsApp from the people there asking me to delete the review. 😂😂😂😂

Their owner is So humble. Service is also good.
