Stayed here for three days to enjoy the beauty of the hills in rainy season. Days would slip from morning to evening watching the endless game of cloud, sunshine and rain. শক্তি চট্টোপাধ্যায়ের সেই "মেঘেরা এখানে গাভীর মতো চরে' চাক্ষুষ করেছি। If you want a few days break from the city life the Nature Love Homestay in Chotomangawa is the ultimate destination. Pledge to return again.

Very bad experience. The food Quantity, amount is very poor and low. They are not even providing minimum food ! Staff behavior is rough. Mainly, what we watch in vlogs on YouTube or any Social Media about this Homestay, is totally an illusion and false. Actually, previously Mr. Puran Ji used to provide a lot of food and huge quantity of food. But, nowadays, another owner has taken thus homestay in a Lease Contract from it's actual owner Mr. Puran Ji. And after taking Lease Contract, Food quantity and food quality is totally decreased. Please don't go there. We went there in May, 2026. And tryst me, literally we were cheated, looted and scammed. Actually they are cheating and scamming tourists. If you go there, you will also be cheated and scammed.

A cosy haven for nature lovers with a perfect place for enjoying the beautiful Sunrise and Sunset on Kanchenjungha in clear weather. They provide well maintained rooms but the only drawback is the quality of food... previously the food was excellent as the owner's wife supervised it...but in her absence...the food is literally a disaster...

We stayed at Chota Mangwa on 27th and 28th August 2025, and the experience was truly unforgettable. The homestay gave us a warm and homely feeling, with excellent food and the kindest hospitality. The owner, Mr. Sanjib Dey, is a wonderful person who ensures every guest feels comfortable and welcomed. The location is simply breathtaking, offering spectacular views of the mountains that made our stay even more special. Every corner of the homestay carried a charm of peace and serenity, making it perfect for mountain lovers. One of the most memorable moments was when we performed Shiv and Ganesh Puja in our room. We decorated with fresh mountain flowers, and to our surprise, the manager arranged laddus for us despite the challenging altitude. This thoughtful gesture touched our hearts deeply. The food was another highlight – a beautiful blend of traditional Bengali flavors and authentic mountain taste. Every meal was cooked with care, making our dining experience just as memorable as the stay itself. And finally, the sweetest companion of our trip was “Kanchi,” the friendly dog who stayed with us throughout. On the day of our departure, Kanchi even walked with us up to the car to say goodbye. We miss Kanchi dearly and will always cherish these heartfelt moments.

The people here are incredibly nice, the food and drinks, the environment, everything is very pleasant. Their service is very good. I want to go again, but this time it's in the winter, when the oranges are in season.

This homestay was a delightful experience with excellent service, warm and welcoming hosts, and mouthwatering home-cooked food. The view of the Kanchenjunga from the property was absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunrise. It’s the perfect place to relax, enjoy nature, and feel truly cared for. Would love to visit again! Puranji and his wife's behavior was really good. Also the other staffs were well behaved.

A wonderful homestay with warm hospitality, delicious home-cooked meals, and an unforgettable view of the Kanchenjunga. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. Every meal was fresh and flavorful, reflecting the care put into it. The highlight, of course, was waking up to the stunning snow-capped peaks—truly a serene and memorable experience. Highly recommended for a peaceful mountain getaway.

Our stay at *Nature Love Homestay* was nothing short of magical. We took advantage of the 4th of July holiday to escape to an offbeat location in Darjeeling, hoping to immerse ourselves in nature—and we found exactly what we were looking for. The homestay itself is a charming two-storeyed property with six well-maintained rooms. From the balconies and windows, you're treated to postcard-perfect views: a dynamic canvas of rolling green hills, shifting white clouds, blue skies, and mist weaving through the landscape. It's like stepping into a living painting that changes every hour. A beautifully kept lawn and a small in-house viewpoint offer peaceful spots where you can spend hours simply soaking in the surroundings. Whether it's watching the mountains wake up in the morning light or seeing clouds float past you as evening sets in, every moment feels deeply calming. The hosts were incredibly warm and attentive, ensuring we felt not just welcomed, but truly cared for. They anticipated all our needs and made the stay seamless and special. The food, lovingly prepared, didn't just satisfy our hunger—it touched our hearts. Our days began with morning tea and biscuits, followed by a wholesome breakfast. Lunch and dinner were delicious and comforting, and in the evenings, we were treated to tea with sweet buns, momos, or pakoras. There's also a barbecue option available, perfect for chilly mountain nights. A friendly cat and a dog, both beloved members of the homestay, often accompanied us on hikes. They'd lead the way patiently, waiting whenever we paused for pictures or breaks—a small but endearing detail that added to the charm of our experience. Nights at Nature Love were surreal. As darkness falls, the clouds descend and drift right past your balcony. The distant Kurseong hills light up, resembling stars scattered across the mountains—an absolutely breathtaking sight. And just when you think you've seen it all, the scenery transforms yet again with the movement of the clouds. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the bathrooms had a steady supply of water. Everything was thoughtfully maintained. A short hike (about 3 kilometers through the woods) takes you to a pristine waterfall, where the water is so pure, you can drink straight from the stream. All in all, our experience was unforgettable. I'm already planning to return this December. A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful hosts for making our stay so beautiful, peaceful, and memorable.
