It was a very good stay at muscatel it was a very good experience also and good food with good services overall departments.

We had a very good experience during our stay. The staff was courteous and welcoming, especially Ayush at the reception. He was calm, patient, and extremely helpful, which made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. As it was our first time visiting the city and staying at this hotel, his warm hospitality made our experience even more enjoyable. Thank you, Ayush, for making our stay so pleasant!

Not worth it

We had a very good experience of staying here. The rooms are neat and clean. The staff is nice and helpful. It is at Mall road. Location is fab. Everything is at walking distance from here.

5mins from Keventers. Nice location. Flat walking. Rooms are good according to price but no view rooms. There have power backup also

The only thing good about this place is the location. Apart from that rooms and bathrooms not properly maintained. Room service is not upto the mark. They don't clean the bathrooms properly. Found a bug in the bed. Bed warmers don't work. When we asked for room heaters in place of the not working bed warmers, they couldn't provide us any.

We stayed at this property for 2 days, a short vacation. The room was neat and clean with ample space for putting luggage. The service was excellent during our stay and the manager extended our stay for 3 more hours without any extra payment. It helped us a lot as we could have our room for getting freshen up before leaving. I just have two suggestions to make the service even better. 1. Placing a phone in the room through which one can place orders for Tea/Coffee or any food. 2. The bed sheet and the towels could have been cleaner. Otherwise it was a great stay and I would recommend others to check out this property for a hassle free staying at a budget price.

I have pathetic experience for staying 2 days here. It is a very old property. Rooms are smelly, beds are old and no cushion. Geyser not working sometime . No power backup at hotel.TV not working.yhey say it is due to rain. But currently it is not raining and cloudy. With this price, it is not worth staying here. Never waste your experience staying here.

LOCATION IS PERFACT AND STAFF BEHAVIOR IS ALSO GOOD

My trip has been disastrous as I believed to book a trusted hotel from MakeMyTrip app. Now the details goes as I checked into the hotel on 15th March. Between these few days there was a natural calamity (hail storm) in Darjeeling. However does this justify that the renowned hotel will not have any power back up? On 15th late evening as I checked in they briefed about electricity issue. I was alone with my 4 year old son and when we ordered dinner they informed to complete it fast as they would be turning off generator back up. I said there must be an alternative as my child is afraid. Upon request the hotel has handed me with 2 candles. After surviving the night, on 16th there was no water. Anyways after sightseeing as we return to hotel again the same scenario and now I got brilliant SERVICE FROM SRISHTI TAMANG, she yelled compelling to accept this is the service they have and asked not to expect more as this is a 3 star hotel. Her behaviour has compelled me to share the review. We could have compromised but her behaviour was nonsense completely unacceptable. Muscatel springburn took the responsibility to ruin the trip. And their staff was cherry on top.

My stay at the hotel was truly a wonderful and memorable experience from beginning to end. The room itself was very satisfactory, spacious, and extremely comfortable. Everything was neatly arranged, and the beds were proper and well organized, which made resting after a long day very relaxing. One thoughtful feature that really stood out was the blanket heater provided by the hotel. It kept the room warm and made the entire atmosphere feel very cozy, especially during the colder hours. Overall, the room provided a comfortable and pleasant environment that made the stay even more enjoyable. During our stay, we had the chance to take part in many enjoyable activities. We visited the local markets nearby, which were lively, vibrant, and full of interesting things to see and buy. The markets had a great atmosphere, and the prices were quite affordable, which made shopping there even more enjoyable. There were also many interesting places to visit around the area, giving us plenty of opportunities to explore and experience the local surroundings. One of the fun highlights was horse riding, which added an exciting and unique experience to our trip. The hotel also offered convenient travel packages for visiting nearby attractions, which made exploring the area much easier and more organized for us. Another aspect that made our stay comfortable was how safe and secure the environment felt. The hotel maintained a calm and well-managed atmosphere, and the staff ensured that good safety measures were in place. Because of this, I always felt relaxed and worry-free during my stay. Knowing that the hotel prioritized safety and guest comfort made the overall experience even more pleasant. The food and drinks provided by the hotel were absolutely splendid. Every meal that we had was beautifully presented and incredibly flavorful. It was clear that the dishes were prepared with care and quality ingredients. Each dish tasted amazing and consistently exceeded my expectations. The drinks were equally impressive—refreshing, well-prepared, and a perfect complement to the meals. Whether it was something to start the morning or a relaxing drink later in the day, everything was consistently enjoyable and added to the overall dining experience. The hotel’s location was also one of its best features. The walkability around the area made it extremely convenient to get around on foot. There were many nearby shops where we could easily access basic necessities and other things we needed during our stay. In addition, several activities and interesting places were within walking distance, making it easy to explore without always needing transportation. The area felt very safe and comfortable to walk around, which made casual outings much more enjoyable. What truly made this experience special, however, was the kindness and professionalism of the hotel staff. Everyone was polite, welcoming, and always willing to help whenever we needed assistance. They were very helpful with our belongings and made sure that we were comfortable throughout our entire stay. The staff also helped arrange trips to different places, making the whole travel experience smooth and convenient for us. We were even pleasantly surprised when our rooms were upgraded to better ones, which made the stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, I truly enjoyed my time at this hotel and would gladly choose to stay here again in the future. The comfortable rooms, amazing food, enjoyable activities, safe environment, convenient location, and exceptional hospitality all combined to create a fantastic experience. A big thank you to all the staff and everyone at the hotel for their kindness, assistance, and warm hospitality. Excellent experience at Mascatal Hotel, Darjeeling! 🌄 The hotel offers clean and spacious rooms with a peaceful mountain atmosphere. The view from the property is beautiful and the location is perfect for exploring Mall Road and nearby attractions. Staff behavior was outstanding – very polite, cooperative, and always ready to assist. Food quality deserves special mention! 🍽️ Breakfast was fresh and satisfying, and both lunch & dinner were delicious with great taste and proper hygiene. Perfect stay for couples and families. Highly recommended when visiting Darjeeling! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
