The location is in Heart of nature, homely & very tasty food .. best home stay in that location

All are good but consider the following 1. The rooms don't have ac or fan so plan your travel date carefully.. morning 6 to 12 may be very hot if your luck is not with you on that day. 2. They have pets..no problem in day time but suppose you are drinking at night with your friends in the open air with food..and staffs are asleep.Now the doggy will irritate you for food..you have to manage it accordingly or have to talk to the owner beforehand..Its a real problem think about it ...

We had a wonderful stay at Sovakiran Homestay recently.The location was peaceful & scenic. The warm hospitality of Mr. Visal Rai and his lovely family made our stay very special. They made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. Special thanks to Mr. Visal Rai who not only ensured our stay was comfortable but also personally guided us throughout our entire tour. His knowledge of the area, helpful nature, and genuine care made a big difference. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a homely stay with great hospitality and local guidance. Kanchanjangha view was beautiful from this homestay. The food, the rooms everything was so nice. Amazing experience.

Very nice Homestay. It's rooms from the British time.You can stay there and visit nearby places like Lamahatta, Tinchulay, Takdah. Nathula pass and Kanchanjungha clear view If the weather is good. Nice Behaviour of the family members.

Hospitality and scenic views are the USP. The host offers tasty food and is very cordial. But the Kanchanjunga view is simply outstanding.

It was a great experience in Sovakiron Homestay at Peshok. As per the owner it was the oldest homestay in Peshok. They have clean rooms and also have parking options. You can easily watch sunrise and sunset on the majestic Kanchanjanga from your room's window. They have a well maintained garden and cottages. They charged nominal rent for rooms.

Giving it a four star for scope of improvements but to be honest this place & the people deserve a five star. I stayed here for 2 days and experienced a whole lot. The people here are quite interesting and welcoming, you will feel like home. I learned a lot from Mr. Vishal Rai, the owner of the property, he is a gentleman. The lady of the house and Mehek (works there) are also very humble and good people. The place is surrounded by Himalayan ranges. Of them some famous places are Kalimpong, Nathula, Temi Tea garden, Namchi (you can see the Shiva’s statue from the homestay’s room), Darjeeling, Chota Mangwa and Bada Mangwa and with obvious a magnificent view of Mt. Kanchenjunga. The foods are quite good, rooms & washrooms are neat & clean. One can enjoy view points and tea gardens nearby, also one can go to nearer places mentioned above along with Teesta view point, Takdah, Tinchule etc. The views of the surrounding at night are aesthetic, breathtaking, soothing, alluring, precious & above words. You can sit for hours without getting bored. They have availed tables & chairs outside the room under the sky so that one can also enjoy munching foods while experiencing a breathtaking views of the Himalayan ranges. Share cabs and reserved cabs are available for one’s financial flexibility. Overall I would suggest and recommend these place for everyone who loves to connect with nature or want to spend times in the midst of nature.
