An amazing place to spend a day or two with breathtaking views, good food and hospitable people

Absolutely loved my stay here! The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, and the home-cooked food was the highlight of my trip. The rooms were spotless and cozy. Felt like a home away from home. Highly recommended!

It was really nice to spend a weekend at Biswarup homestay , Tanyang. The room was clean and well maintained with all wooden furniture and flooring. The windows are big and front view was excellent. Food was just too good and what we can't expect fish and chicken biryani at this remote location , but that was given to us in lunch for 2 days. A long balcony in front of the room was also very refreshing. Adding to that , the glass coveted dining room was also awesome. The service and the warm hospitality we got from the staff members, I would not forget. I would recommend to the viewers to stay for 2 days if you want a pollution free place close to nature. I traveled with my family from 1-3rd May 2026.

Though all facilities are there in the room, it's cramped due to the presence of an extra bed.

Very good Place

Location: Tanyang is not known to local drivers even, nothing to explore nearby. So, no disturbances…one might like Kanchenjunga: Can’t comment, bad weather Rooms: Worst ever experienced. In a tiny room a king size bed and another cot (not needed) so cramped and claustrophobic that while getting into the bed you have to struggle. Linen: All white, neat and clean and well maintained. Hot water: Tiny geyser and insufficient even for one bucketful of hot water …I wonder, how one can stay here in winter! Campus: No campus, can’t walk inside…can’t walk on the road outside which is extremely steep. Food: Excellent for Bengalis (they will not prepare omelette for you though!) Staffs: Courteous and efficient Signage: You can miss it, It is advisable to have a Big one near the steps for entry. Word of caution: Elderly people with knee problems, should definitely avoid for very steep steps (around 15#) to climb up and down from road to the home-stay. Medical emergency: Very vulnerable and scary. Duration of stay: One night is sufficient…we had to cut short our staying. USP: Glass-walled (without windows) dining space with Bluetooth speakers. Summertime, this space may be stuffy…

Peaceful. Everybody is familiar . Staff service as well as behaviour is also good. Its recommendable.

Very good services rendered by staff and food and other equipments are excellent.

An excellent place to detox yourself away from busy city life. The best part is the 4 times meals and the 360 degree glass dining hall. Only downside is the first few stairs when you approach the property which is unguarded and might be bit difficult for senior citizens.

Very Nice Location. Quite and serene. All the rooms does not have direct mountain view, one room has, but kanchenjunga can be seen clearly from the balcony. Very nice behavior of all the staffs. Food quality is good, dining room is nicely decorated outside. Geyser available, WiFi not available. Overall quite a good experience.

It's a very good homestay, carry on in the future and the food is very healthy and hygienic. The staffs are also very helpful and their behaviour is excellent. All the best
