The homestay owner and his family were extremely warm and welcoming, they embraced us just like members of their own family. They were always ready to provide all kinds of assistance to ensure our stay was pleasant. The food at the homestay is simply extraordinary—wholesome, satisfying, and truly home-style cooking. We asked them to make some local cushions, and they happily made them. The rooms at the homestay are very clean and tidy—in short, well-maintained. Our stay at the homestay was truly memorable, thanks to the beautifully laid-out garden, the enchanting natural surroundings, and—above all—the wonderful way the host and their family treated us. However, I simply had to mention owner's son, Mimo—with his captivating smile and friendly nature; he is truly a wonderful boy. The experience there was truly delightful and unforgettable. One should definitely visit ‘Kafar Gaon Homestay’ to enjoy boundless tranquility amidst a homely atmosphere and natural scenery.

Such an amazing place to wind down. Nested between scenic beauty, We had a wonderful stay at this homestay in Kaffergaon. The place was beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by lovely views, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the hospitality was genuinely warm and welcoming. The food was delicious, and everything felt homely and thoughtfully arranged. The hosts were kind, helpful, and made sure we had a comfortable stay. You can meet some furry babies which will make your day. Lovely stay. One of the best homestays I have stayed till date...... I have visited so many places and their homestays but this one feels like home with its serenity with its view everything is so Serene and beautiful. The hosts are amazing just amazing their hospitality is beyond words... due to some reason I have to change dates of my visit..... Dada cooperate with us with so much generosity. The little host is so playful and loving. The food is amazing soo tasty so homely so clean it feels like home, the momo the bbq is sooo good. Wonderful place to visit in hill area, I spent 2nights here. They are all such a good hearted people, everything is fine the food, behavior of them and of course the natural scenario and the amazing view of kanchenjunga from your bed, it's awesome. If someone wants to go here then go without any hesitation, they all are blindfully faithful person. And also I love the compassionate driver. Thanks a lot all of you.

On of the best homestays I have stayed till now. The food that was served was actually grown by them in their farm, so it was very delicious and fresh. Our host was very nice specially rupesh who took utmost care that we were fed properly. Would recommend everyone to atleast try their hospitality for once and I would try to visit atleast once every few months ☺️.

Great place must visit & stay

Had a truly memorable stay at Kaffer Gaon. The owner and his family welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home from the very beginning. The food was one of the best parts of the stay. They served fresh organic saag from their own farm and homemade ghee made from the milk of their cows. Everything tasted fresh, simple, and authentic. The homestay blends beautifully with the peaceful village surroundings, full of colourful flowers and amazing Kanchenjunga views. A perfect place if you want a real village homestay experience with genuine hospitality.

Kaffergaon homestay was not just a destination; it was an experience nestled in the loving embrace of the mountains. From the moment we arrived, Karma Ji's heartfelt hospitality made us feel at home. Rupesh, with his ever-smiling face, fulfilled every little request with warmth and care. While fish is not served, the chicken and egg preparations are excellent, and every meal reflects the flavours of authentic (pahadi) home cooking. We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cottage. The views were beautiful, the food was excellent, and the warm hospitality made us feel right at home. I felt the food had a unique blend of Nepali and Bengali flavours, and it was absolutely delicious. The homemade ghee and fresh chillies from their own garden made the meals even more memorable. We especially enjoyed the morning walks and jungle walks surrounded by nature. The peaceful setting is perfect for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with the outdoors. P.S. If you plan to go to the jungle walks, be prepared for leeches.
