Wonderful place to visit in hill area, I spent 2nights here. They are all such a good hearted people, everything is fine the food, behavior of them and of course the natural scenario and the amazing view of kanchenjunga from your bed, it's awesome. If someone wants to go here then go without any hesitation, they all are blindfully faithful person. And also I love the compassionate driver. Thanks a lot all of you.

On of the best homestays I have stayed till now. The food that was served was actually grown by them in their farm, so it was very delicious and fresh. Our host was very nice specially rupesh who took utmost care that we were fed properly. Would recommend everyone to atleast try their hospitality for once and I would try to visit atleast once every few months ☺️.

Very nice, enchanting and soo beautiful place for visiting Kaffergoan. We couple and my son stayed this Guest, experienced very highly warm welcome and remarkable professional hospitality they served. Great place must visit & stay

Had a truly memorable stay at Kaffer Gaon. The owner and his family welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home from the very beginning. The food was one of the best parts of the stay. They served fresh organic saag from their own farm and homemade ghee made from the milk of their cows. Everything tasted fresh, simple, and authentic. The homestay blends beautifully with the peaceful village surroundings, full of colourful flowers and amazing Kanchenjunga views. A perfect place if you want a real village homestay experience with genuine hospitality.

Kaffergaon homestay was not just a destination; it was an experience nestled in the loving embrace of the mountains. From the moment we arrived, Karma Ji's heartfelt hospitality made us feel at home. Rupesh, with his ever-smiling face, fulfilled every little request with warmth and care. Dadi Ji, finding joy in the rhythm of her daily work, added a beautiful touch of simplicity and grace to our stay. The delicious lunches,evening snacks and dinners were a delight, and the fresh salads were truly unforgettable. Nikki and Coco, the sweetest furry companions, filled our days with laughter and joy through their playful antics. Nestled amidst serene hills and greenery, the homestay offers peace and tranquility. The property consists of four beautifully positioned cottages, each thoughtfully designed and maintained. The cottages are tastefully decorated with warm wooden interiors that create a cozy mountain atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and equipped with clean, fully functional washrooms. What impressed me most was the location of the cottages. Step outside and you are greeted by stunning views of the surrounding hills, fresh mountain air, and an overwhelming sense of calm. Whether you are sipping your morning tea on the verandah or simply sitting quietly and enjoying the landscape, the setting encourages you to slow down and reconnect with nature. The hospitality deserves special mention. The hosts make you feel less like a customer and more like a guest in their home. All meals are freshly prepared and served with warmth and care. The homestay provides breakfast, lunch, evening tea with snacks, and dinner. While fish is not served, the chicken and egg preparations are excellent, and every meal reflects the flavours of authentic (pahadi) home cooking. After a day of exploring the hills, returning to a hot, freshly cooked meal was one of the highlights of the stay. We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cottage. The views were beautiful, the food was excellent, and the warm hospitality made us feel right at home. I felt the food had a unique blend of Nepali and Bengali flavours, and it was absolutely delicious. The homemade ghee and fresh chillies from their own garden made the meals even more memorable. We especially enjoyed the morning walks and jungle walks surrounded by nature. The peaceful setting is perfect for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with the outdoors. P.S. If you plan to go to the jungle walks, be prepared for leeches.

I stayed there from 13th May to 15th May 2026. It was an excellent stay with my family with very warm hospitality from owner of the homestay. Food was very tasty just like homely made. I will surely visit again.
