⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at Samalbong Villa Homestay was truly unforgettable. Since all the duplex rooms were occupied on our first day, we stayed in a standard room, and from the second day onwards, we got the opportunity to stay in a beautiful duplex room. Both were clean, comfortable, and very well maintained.❤️ The highlight of this homestay is undoubtedly the breathtaking view. On clear days, guests can enjoy a crystal-clear view of the majestic Kanchenjunga right from the property. Even though we visited during the monsoon season, we were still lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the mountain. At night, the mesmerizing Necklace View of the twinkling town lights looked absolutely magical.😌 If you're looking for peace and nature, this is the perfect place. There are no traffic noises—only the soothing sounds of birds and the beauty of the surrounding forest. We were even fortunate enough to spot peacocks during our stay, which made the experience even more special.🦚 All meals were included, and the food was excellent. We never expected to enjoy such delicious home-cooked meals in the hills, especially fresh fish. Every meal was prepared with care and tasted wonderful.😋 What made our stay truly memorable was the warm hospitality. The hosts treated us like family and made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. Samalbong Villa Homestay is a perfect blend of comfort, nature, stunning views, and genuine hospitality.😊 Thank you 🙏🏻

If you are looking for peace, luxury, and breathtaking views, this is the place to be. ​Lodging: The rooms are exceptionally clean, spacious, and beautifully designed. The highlight has to be the stunning glass balcony that offers a majestic, uninterrupted 5-star view of the Kanchenjunga range right from the bed! It feels like a premium luxury villa but at a very budget-friendly price. ​Fooding: The food here is absolutely delicious! Every meal was freshly prepared, organic, and served hot with so much love. From local mountain delicacies to comfort food, everything tasted like home. The legendary Dalle chilli chutney they served was the cherry on top!

Travel is my passion.I love exploring offbeat places in any state or district. And if the resort or homestay has a beautiful ambience that matches my taste, it makes the experience even more special. On 12th July 2026, my family and I decided to visit Samalbong in Kalimpong. We booked our homestay after Watching a Youtube video, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. The place was absolutely amazing. The owner's hospitality and warm behaviour made us feel at home. Form breakfast to dinner every meal was delicious. The rooms were cozy and comfortable. We stayed in the attic room on the top floor, and the view the balcony was simply breathtaking. And if the clear day, we can witness the magnificent and mesmerizing view of Kanchanjunggha. And added bonus was the musical entertainment - a beautiful performance by a Nepali singer. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would love to visit again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful offbeat getaway.

অফবীট কালিম্পং এর Samalbong Villa Homestay খুব সুন্দর একটা ঠিকানা। যেমন সুন্দর ভিউ ঠিক তেমনি সুন্দর এখানকার পুরো বাঙালি খাওয়াদাওয়া❤️। পাহাড়ে এসে শুদ্ধ বাঙালি খাওয়া জাস্ট ভাবাই যায় না। এখানকার প্রতিটি স্টাফ দের ব্যবহারও খুব আন্তরিক 🥰। পরিবারের সাথে হোক বা বন্ধু দের সাথে অথবা নিজের সাথেই সুন্দর কিছু মুহূর্ত কাটাতে চাইলে অবশ্যই একবার আসতে হবে এখানে।

The Home Between the Mountains I didn’t plan to fall in love with a place in 24 hours. But that’s exactly what happened. I was expecting a “home stay.” What I got felt like coming home. The staff greeted me like neighbors I hadn’t seen in years. No stiff welcomes, no forms pushed across a desk. Just warm tea, a genuine “make yourself comfortable,” and someone who remembered I liked an extra blanket at night. You never once felt like a guest. You felt looked after. By the time I left, I realized it wasn’t just the view that stayed with me. It was the feeling that for a few days, I wasn’t away from home. I’d just found a different version of it. If you ever need that — beauty, bliss, and people who treat you like family — this is the place. Must stay. Must visit.
